Slash just got off WAAF in Boston, and literally said "We should play, we should play- I'd like to."
Then all but put it on Axl's people (NOT Axl) for why they aren't. I'll try to find audio later- not sure if they put it up on their website.
I'd say he is partly right. I totally believe that Axl's entourage are doing everything they can to make this not happen. But I think Slash has a history of twisting the truth so I'd say he could be to blame on some level.
But a question. Why is it that Axl's posse hate Slash so much?

Yes you are that bad off. You are literally throwing away nearly 20 years worth of written evidence that completely debunks your beliefs.
I don't disagree, but like I said before. I'm not convinced he's the ONLY one holding this reunion up. Take a closer look at Izzy and Slash for two other possible major roadblocks.
Slash mostly.

The only reunion you'll see IF there is one is at the HOF. Nothing more and Ferrer won't be the drummer.

I still think that Axl and Slash won't even look at each other at all and not say a word to each other. But I hope for the both of them that they do speak and decide to just put that feud to rest once and for all. And IF and that is a huge IF they decide to play, it'll be a last minute thing or a surprise. But I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.

I think if they both show up, they'll just avoid any eye contact, do their respective speech and just avoid each other.

I'd take that bet. I think Axl will be there. In the interview he did, he said he recognised it was important for the fans. Will he play? Now that's a whole different story. If I had to bet I'd say he won't. I don't think he'll talk to slash or anything too.

He's very good. But criminally underrated? I think not.
