that is my point....everybody likes different songs, but in the end, the album is gonna be killer (at least in my opinion).

In my opinion, nothing on this album is remotely as bad as Get in the Ring or remotely as cheesy as Don't Cry and Think About You....now those are some cheesy 80's ballads. To each his own.

I finally caught this last night. My goodness, he is a mess. He looks a lot worse than he did in the Behind the Music episode. I thought to myself, "There is no way, if a reunion occurs, that Adler could be the drummer." He wouldnt survive on a cash cow tour like that.
I thought the same thing.....it will either be Sorum or one of the new guys. Adler will never be back in Gnr.

they don't debut at number 1.....Texas doesn't understand that this single debuted higher than Nov Rain, You Could Be Mine, etc.....it was only a partial week. People are very ignorant sometimes. Billboard is reporting it because it DID WELL.

I agree with Elmir. This I Love doesn't come close to the old ballads. I can see why people like it, but comparing it to the old classics is a bit much. Like they say though, music is subjective.
James and everyone else, we can argue about individual songs until the cows come home. Everyone has their own favorite and their own personal taste in music. In my opinion, as an album, I think this record is easily as good as either UYI. Is there an Estranged or Civil War on here? Maybe not, but as a record, the album will be solid. It is a very eclectic group of songs held together by the common theme of broken relationships. Critics usually dig albums with "themes". I am pretty damn excited about how these final mixes sound.:rock:

I am starting to agree with you except for Shackler's is my least favorite but it isn't bad.
