I don't know how or why, but Axl doesn't sound that bad when you're there. I can't explain it; it defies logic.
Slash plays the songs with such ease and flow that GnR can't replicate. They play the right notes, but it just doesn't sound right. I can't really explain that either because I respect them all as musicians...it's almost like they play it too clean if that makes any sense. I don't really care about the drummers, but maybe this is what people that love Adler hear vs Matt on the AFD songs. To my ears Matt is fine, but I'm not a drums guy at all.
I have a really hard time with two things about Myles:
The sing along over ANY song that he tries to implement but doesn't make much sense in songs like Paradise City or Nightrain or Civil War... Sounds lame and artificial...
His tone, as Axl's nowadays most of the time, doesn't fit GNR songs.

He has been impersonating Mickey Mouse for the whole 2012 tour. I liked that they kept it this way, raw and the same way as GNR sounds live.

Hey Guys!
I didn't have an opportunity to do this on MYGNR because i got banned, but i wanted to do it anyway and i'm sure it will reach people if i do it here.
I made up this plan of having received a cd with 8 songs from someone who wanted me to leak this songs. I took that idea from one of MSL videos of the past, even though he didn't really do that in the end.
In any case i want to public apologize to any GNR fan that for a minute there believed me, or even for those who didn't believe me from the start.
I know i have done things like this in the past, and even though i don't mean anything bad with it, i know people are tired of it and i pissed off a lot people that usually posts on GNR forums.What can i say... i've been so eager for new songs, new albums and all that comes along with it, and being a GNR fan is very frustrating, as GNR fans we never see a light of hope at the end of the tunnel. All we see is a very blurry road and we expect a day where a miracle will happen and an announcement is made.
With this i'm not blaming GNR or anyone for that matter, for my actions.. Even though i thought there were people that were a little out of hand with insults, threatening of Lawsuits, wishes that i would die (?!) which are beyond unacceptable and a bit low and which shows some kind of fanatism which i might have shown with my actions as well, i have to say that my actions are totally unacceptable and i'm truly sorry for it.
I'm not doing this for some kind of "clean face" reasons, but only because i really felt that i did something wrong.Anyways take it as you wish to take it, but i apologize to all GNR fans for my actions!

Everything is great, I love Dust In The Wind though.
Also, I like Too Much Too Soon even if it's corny as fuck.
The rarest for me is this one:
Vocals come around 2:50 min mark.

I was thinking that too. Sounds just crazy enough to be true. Drive the classics down the peoples throats to the point they don't care anymore and they just want to hear new music.
Haven't we completed phase 1 by now?
Among the fanbase? certainly...

Perhaps Axl is touring non stop so the interest on a reunion would be decreasing tour after tour?

You're welcome Ali. I just wanted to share what I experienced.. It was the same high as hearing a new song in a concert except there wasn't anybody else to witness that too
