Wasn’t the songs they were working on in 95 supposedly like AFD?
I wouldn’t surprised if Hardskool came from those sessions.
On the locker leak cd it says NU AX on it which implies the vocals may be new replacing an older take. it doesn't say that on any of the other tracks with vocals either
If it really was meant to be on that Jackie Chan movie in 98 then I'd assume there had to a somewhat finished version. Given Dominguez said the most finished songs that year were Oklahoma and Ides Of March it implies it wasn't worked on while he was there, so it's likely 96/97
Which Slash I think hinted at by mentioning how it had history the others didn't.

New tracks that are posted online are always posted first on the gnr fan forums and before other sites.

well thats what i thought but someone at mygnr mentioned they had seen him labeled as a tour manager on some show or something.

But it's a bit sad that he says that he thinks they are trying to put a single out. Seems not that involved, but good to hear songs are planed at least
If he is labeled at Tour Manager he probably isn't that involved in that of things

The interview was not pulled. The site had issues resulting in them loosing several links including but not limited to that small Duff piece.
The full Duff interview has yet to be posted.

Is everybody here on drugs? I’m really glad I have friends that aren’t so naive. Again, I am actually embarrassed that I read these unbelievably naive comments on this circus. They are a cabaret act which has a solid Broadway following.

To be fair this is gnr nothing at all except endless touring is a possibility
Although having said that I think attendence at gigs is down a lot, so how long can they keep on touring before it's not financially viable?

I don't think we know that they abandoned the singles plan. Might just be on a slower cycle than we'd like.
I agree with Shacklermyrye - the band seems to be in "get something done" mode at the moment.
Might be setting myself up for a fall lol - but it just feels like they will do something soon.
I don't know that soon is the word lol

If they were to keep releasing singles until they had say 10 tracks, would that then be conveniently packaged into an album?
Slash said there is one or two and then another one or two, if you include Hardschool and Absurd that's 6 so not really enough for an album.
they should just drop the next 4 as an EP.
However some people at the Glasgo gig and at a few shows since have mentioned they have seen extra people filming that appear to be separate from the normal big screen video stuff. That coupled with that KOHD clip at the start of the tour that actually sounded well mixed make me think a live album/blu ray could be on the cards. Or at least maybe live tracks as extra tracks on a Perhaps EP or something.
That seems far more likely and achievable than an actual album. I get the whole "nothings going to happen" assumption from the fan base but sometimes 2 add 2 does make 4 even in GN'R world.
