I'm inclined to agree the more I listen to it. Besides I can't think of the use of the word Blood or Water in any of the CD songs but I may be wrong on that one.
Me neither no a single one. It's legit and judging by the vocals and the fact it sounds mastered, I'm going to say it was finished for CD

I don't see in any way how this could be considered poppy. Sure it's got synths but it's still pretty heavy handed. And I hear guitar pulses in there.
