I'll do it, In fact. I have a great idea.
How about an open letter to Axl Rose? How about we draft one. Vote on the wording and the content ? Might not make it in time for the HOF but if it went Viral (which I think it would) it would at the very least be pretty cool.
Make a plea for a reunion? Make a plea for the Chinese Democracy Sessions?

Nah, you would have seen Stephanie in a herpes commercial long ago.
Fucked beta maybe?
Is Fernando Slash's Illegitimate son?
Has Axl secretly been raising Slash's bastard?
Tune in next week.
When all shall be revealed in this "Game of Bones"

I take it Free and Deep Purple have not been inducted?
Free are understandable if so. Deep purple should be in there however.

Always straight class from Ron.
I'll drink to that.
He's like Buddhist in a world of bulls.
Noel made a funny quote about Liam Gallagher once.
When talking about his brothers Angry demeanor, he said: "He's like a man with a fork in a world full of Spoons"

Steven, Duff, Matt, Dizzy. That's who shows. That's my guess and I'm sticking to it. We'll find out in a couple weeks.
P.S.: Steven is a weak-minded, average-talent idiot.
He would seem to be somewhat of a fool.

I'm just gonna throw this out there;
Why in the fuck is it not ok to like EVERYTHING? I went through this in the 80s & 90s with Pink Floyd and I'm going on enduring 2 decades of it with Guns N' Roses fans now.
In the 80s people would act like I was bat shit insane for going to see Dave's version of Floyd but saying how much I enjoyed Radio KAOS or The Wall Live In Berlin (Roger's solo stuff going on at the time). Then later in the 90s, I would get told I couldn't possibly like both if I were attending Dave's Floyd shows but saying much much I liked Amused To Death. Then when attending Roger shows since '99, I've had a bunch of people tell me there's just no way I could've liked Floyd without Roger.
What. The. Fuck?
Can't I just like what I like? For example, I LOVE Chinese Democracy and the first VR record. I love some Izzy solo stuff, I like some of the Loaded material. Isn't that ok? Or am I expected to just draw some stupid line in the sand for other people's sake?
I have nothing against Slash or anyone else who's been in Guns N' Roses and chose to leave because it's not my band. Why they left isn't my business. Who's "Right or wrong" doesn't concern me, the art does. If anyone makes art I like, I'm going to listen to it and talk about it no matter how much sense it might not make to someone else or if it doesn't go by "their rules".
I'm with you on this. 100%.

Interesting approach I guess, but if personal attacks are whats bothering you, please don't attempt to add to them in the future.
Riad wrote:On topic, I doubt they'll play. Axl isn't gonna play. I think Slash is saying he wants to because he knows Axl won't and he can squeeze some good press out of it but maybe he's not THAT vindictive
Maybe I have blinders on but I tend to agree with that very last sentence.
Am I dumb for assuming Slash has other ways to promote himself these days than to just attempt to make Axl look bad?
You're right won't do it again.
I tend to distrust all of them involved really.
