Eddie Trunk spent around 30 minutes of his podcast talking about GN'R. Pretty good stuff. Best comment about all the secrecy. "GNR knows that they have the craziest, most psychotic fanbase of any band." This was intended as a compliment to us.

Nevermind, the arena opens Apri 6th... Not that they play there April 6. I pray to God Coachella is first or else I just pissed away $3,000

And you're paying all that damn money to hang out with a bunch of fucking hipsters in the desert when you could see GN'R in Vegas (party city).

There is a report that they are getting $14m total for Coachella. $7m per show is fucking insane. I guess Slash and Duff are willing to put up with a lot of Axl's bullshit for that kind of cash.

That's definitely true! I've always wondered if uses the low register while speaking on purpose to 'compensate' for his high pitched raspy singing style, you know... so people don't think he sounds like Gilbert Gottfried all the time
. He used to speak even lower that he seems to do these days, but voices changes with age of course.
I don't think he is faking the deep voice. I think it's the other way around. His natural voice is deep but he is (or was) blessed with the talent to sing in a much higher voice. Roy Orbison was the same way. If you heard him speak you would never in a million years think that he could go so much higher with his singing voice.

Vegas arena will hold 20,000. That is the tour they should be doing, not stadiums. They should be able to easily sell out arenas at 20,000 per show and you could still get big money doing it.
