Neemo, Young Guns is a classic!

yeah i recently got my hands on a copy of the YGII soundtrack by jon bon jovi...its awesome 9

Young Guns is one of my all time favorite movies ever and the YGII soundtrack is by far some of Jon Bon Jovi's best work.  I love Sante Fe/Miracle/Dying Ain't Much Of A Living/Bang a Drum and OF COURSE...Blaze of Glory! 3  That and New Jersey are the best work ever and his solo album YGII is right up there with the best they did as a group, better in many ways.

Back on topic:  Yeah, the Hammerstein Shows were a real buzz.  The leaks hadn't been out long and then the shows.  Things were looking great.  I didn't get to attend a show but opening night was fuckin great.  James, Neemo, Myself, Backslash and the whole gang were on chat excited as hell!  Laura (DTJ) attended the show and texted us and was super sweet enough to even get some of us a cool concert shirt.  Great times. 22

I am in the minority but I like I.R.S.   I like it much better than Madagascar and rank it among the five best C.D. songs thus far (The Blues, C.D., Better and T.W.A.T. joining that list).

Not to stir the shit too much but I have to say this since this is a thread on leaks...some of the people getting credit for some of the leaks is only part true.  They may have been the ones to let it out into the forums openly but some had been leaked a bit prior.  You can find parts of T.W.A.T. (with orchestra) and The Blues (hidden inside one of the many "fan mixes") both in their "studio" leaked forms, meaning that these leaks were available to some people much earlier.  Not taking credit away from what anyone did (and may have very well thought they were unveiling these first) but for the record I wanted to at least state this information openly.  I'm also not saying I agree with nor disagree with the hoarders.  However for the sake of information it is important to understand that some of these huge "negotiations" to get leaks weren't always quite the way they may have appeared.  Negotiations were often made prior than the current negotiators knowledge but not revealed as openly.

Ron's a super cool guy but by no means would I want Bucket's stuff replaced.  However I kind of lean toward the idea that Ron brought his own stuff to these tracks as an addition to what was already there and Bucket's will remain intact.  That scenario would be ok.

You're not alone, I agree.

it would bring a harder edge back to the music.

This is why I agree.

It amazes me how many people write it off (Baz with VR) when you can see the result that came from having Scott as the singer.  This isn't a knock against Scott (STP kicked ass) it's just a fact, VR did ONE good song with Scott...Slither, and then some very mediocre crap from some very talented musicians.

#657 Re: Guns N' Roses » finally a decent straight forward comment regarding CD » 940 weeks ago

Deductive reasoning 101 guys:

The album must make money or the album will not be released.

The album can't make money in today's market due to the amount spent on making it.

Therefore the album won't be released.

Pray for leaks or hope for a reunion.

Great news Laura.  Good to see the sun is shining again!

What a huge disaster.  Things like this really puts our own personal daily problems into perspective.  Good point Roxxie about the Burmese government, it is idiots like this that have largely aided to many world atrocities such as hunger.  Much more could have been done through the years if it were not for corruption and ignorance.

#660 Re: The Sunset Strip » Most Recent Movie You've Seen » 940 weeks ago

Watched "One Missed Call" last night, it was a good "B" horror flick.  About a group of people who get calls on their cell phone from a person already just recently deceased.  The call they get is dated a day or so in the future and it is at this time they will die.

I also watched "Carver" a little while back.  Very much Texas Chainsaw like but, of course, nothing can top the original TCM for its shock value and realness.
