Bono, there are a lot of U2 fans out there....me being one of them. I love Unforgettable Fire....Bad being one of the greatest epics ever...especially live. Plus, you have to remember I graduated high school in 1985 so that album and time are pretty important to me....plus them just dominating Live Aid.

I love everything on every album of the Beatles from Revolver through Let It Be...I don't count Yellow Submarine either although Hey Bulldog is awesome. It is a soundtrack just like Rattle and Hum....as was Magical Mystery Tour I believe.

Here's another run by the one and only Jimi Hendrix. 3

Are You Experienced? (1967)
Axis: Bold as Love (1967)
Electric Ladyland (1968)

not too bad either

Led Zeppelin (1969)
Led Zeppelin II (1969)
Led Zeppelin III (1970)
Led Zeppelin IV (1971)

and this...The Who

Tommy (1969)
Who's Next (1971)
Quadrophenia (1973)

last but not least... Neil Young

Everybody Knows This is Nowhere (1969)
After the Gold Rush (1970)
Harvest (1972)

I was at the last two Hammerstein shows in 2006 and thought he sounded as good as he did at the 7 Illusion shows I saw between 91 and 93.....go figure. Much better in 2006 than 2001/2002. Their sound guys are pretty poor though. I saw Radiohead recently and everything was dead perfect. smile

I've been on a Sticky kick lately....obviously Gnr was as well because in 2006 they were playing You Gotta Move and Sway-mainly because of Izzy I think. Buckmaster does the strings on that album so that may have something to do with it!:D

Russ, that Floyd run is awesome. Another classic is Unforgettable Fire, Joshua Tree, and Achtung Baby from U2. I didn't count Rattle and Hum because it was not a proper studio album....more of a soundtrack.

Any GNR fan who doesn't own Beggar's Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, and Exile on Main Street should have to turn in their rock badge and papers. Best 4 album run EVER in rock and roll. Tell me why I'm right or why I'm wrong.

ps...as an addendum to the topic, tell me some of your favorite multiple album runs by an artist. In other words, albums that were released in a row. They don't have to involve the first album. For example, Dylan had a huge three album run with Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisted, and Blonde on Blonde (they were his 5th, 6th, and 7th records). Multiple albums in a row that represent the artist at their absolute best.

I think Axl is going to do both a full reunion and will release CD. And, I predict Izzy will be fully involved in any Gnr Reunion.:slash:

And there is the Onion...Azoff and Axl have got to figure out a way to get a deal where somehow the albums and a new record deal are tied in with a reunion. The only way he can do this is to do some form of 360 deal where the label gets a cut of touring. Axl first and foremost has to resolve the costs incurred over the last 14 years. A way to do that is to guarantee someone a cut of a future new band CD tour AND any potential reunion tour. Axl can do both, and I think he should out of respect for guys like Tommy, Dizzy, and Pitman who never left his side over the last ten years.

Axl is Gnr at this point....Azoff was brought in to both get Chinese out, get HIM/Axl/"Gnr" a new record deal, and to try and put a reunion together at some point.

Who the hell shows up as bandmembers when there is some movement in the future is complete guesswork.:nervous:
