Russ.... and common fucking business sense tells you that Axl isn't going to turn over the record unless negotiations are finalized. They are obviously not done. I just can't stand the constant ripping of band members for NO reason at all...it gets really old. They talk and they get ripped, they don't talk and they get ripped.. Fuck it...:headbang::headbang:

if this record is ever released, you know it will come around x-mas. So, in reality, Finck issues or not, they still have time to prepare a release for the end of this year.

ha ha...to further my point that the leaks may not be that similar to the final product and may not all be on the record, from Billboard today, Axl's long lost sister Courtney Love on her new album...
"Instead, Love says the Linda Perry-produced set will be turned in to the latter's Custard label by mid-July. "No 'scrapping' is going on, simply a few retakes, especially since all those recordings were leaked to the Net," Love writes.
"Don't assume you know any songs on this album," she continues. "Some may sound somewhat familiar or even have the same titles and arrangements. A few are just precious diamonds I wouldn't touch, but there's tons of new ones which you haven't a clue about."
I stand by my point that the leaks are only a rough idea of what the final product MAY sound like and that outside of the song Chinese Democracy, I don't think there are any guarantees as to what is on the tracklist.

I don't think the record company has it, but what do I know. Also, the band isn't going to say who has it for fear of an earlier leak. Hard to tell exactly what Richard is saying due to obvious translation issues so I will stay out of the guessing fray. All I know is that we don't know the tracklist for the album, and we haven't heard the final mixes for the record. Considering the last leaks are now over two years old, the entire album could have been over hauled in that time frame. It's only fair to reserve judgment until the artist actually releases a finished product.:peace:

that is my quote....I think the lists are good and as I said, depending on YOUR taste, you would have albums ranked in different places. The point I was making had more to do with the respect the Replacements hold in the industry.....:rolleyes:

I highly doubt Steven was ever one of Axl's best friends.....Izzy yes....Steven no. Izzy leaving hurt Axl deeply...much more than anyone else.
