he just told you the new management is going to somehow benefit the fans! A few weeks later, a guitar player leaves!:headbang::haha:

Sorry Ma and Stink are definitely dominated by Bob's rippin guitar and Tommy's galloping bass. Hootenany to me starts to get a more Paul influenced way of doing things...although Run It, Color Me Impressed, and Hayday rock like the first two.

#6853 Re: Guns N' Roses » Tommy/Westerberg consider a Replacements reunion » 941 weeks ago

Big feature on the Mats in Spin this month. It says Tommy is just writing solo material and waiting for Gnr to ramp up again. Definitely nothing to say that he left Gnr....it calls Gnr his day job. Apparently he remixed some of the music and played a very large role in putting the reissues together. That is obviously what he did after Gnr stopped touring in July 07. Great pics in the Spin article as well. You can see it in the bad obsession section at HTGTH.:mosh:

On a Mats reunion, Tommy says the ball is in Westerberg's court so Tommy would obviously do it.:ummm:

"I think this" ..."I think that"...for fuck's sake I'm tired of talking about it. It is what it is and none of our opinions count for shit. Nobody on this board has one fuckin clue as to what is going to happen with the entire Gnr circus...and that includes yours truly.

#6855 Re: Guns N' Roses » Classic Rock just through my door... » 941 weeks ago

nice point....the Gnr brand has only one officially released track of original material in 17 years. The other bands you name were just as succesful as Gnr in their original form but carried on in a competent fashion after very key members left. :wtf::flame:

#6857 Re: Guns N' Roses » Rumor: Axl and Slash at same hotel in NYC? » 942 weeks ago

It is not a reunion if you do some form of half ass mix of uyi gnr, new gnr, vr. That would be awful.

#6858 Re: Guns N' Roses » Rumor: Axl and Slash at same hotel in NYC? » 942 weeks ago

Russ, for the record, when I say a reunion, I just mean a one off world tour that would last for maybe a year. No recording involved-just a one time cash grab tour. Not talking about a full time thing for years to come. For fuck's sake if Izzy isn't ivolved full time it isn't a reunion, it is just another Gnr amalgamation. If that is the case, Axl should just take Slash back now and fuck everybody else. Let Izzy come and go as he pleases.:butt:

that guy has some decent, accurate scoops on Axl. However, he is purely guessing and talking out of his ass there. I don't think there is any top secret mind blowing things going on right now. It's real simple. Axl is negotiating to get HIS album released. I take his last statement to heart. He will figure the other shit out later.

It isn't a reunion without Izzy. End of discussion. Izzy is and has always been the go between. For fuck's sake, he went on a European tour with Axl within the last few years. He started his first bands with Axl. He went to High School with Axl. He still plays with Duff and Slash on various occasions. He showed up for the AFD 20th. He would clearly do a reunion tour if it is done properly.
