well...that begs the question, when are you expecting it? After a decade of hope, how can you actually have a realistic expectation of another timeline? Jan 09, Dec10? 8 years from now!!!!!:flame:

If that doesn't tell you how fucked up this situation is, then nothing will. Personally, I thought this thing was coming in 2000. 8 years later...:haha: actually, not funny.:headbang:

Just got the press release:
Nine Inch Nails 2008 touring lineup has been completed. Returning member Robin Finck and new addition Rich Fownes will join Trent Reznor, Alessandro Cortini and Josh Freese for a world tour beginning July in North America.
Finck has served in numerous touring configurations of NIN, from tours supporting The Downward Spiral (1994-1997) to The Fragile (2000-2001). More recently, he played in Guns N Roses. Fownes has been performing with UNKLE, and has been a member of With Scissors and The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster.
The upcoming tour will feature the live debut of material from the recently released Ghosts I-IV alongside songs spanning the entire NIN catalogue.

Duff just followed Slash...almost copying him by his own admission...see MTV special from 88/89. Tommy and Duff are pretty similar in their bass playing talent. Neither is any better than the other. Tommy's bass was much more pronounced in the Replacements, especially from 81-84 when they were a little more punk. We will need the final chinese mixes before making any overall judgements on who contributes more to their respective bands. My fav Duff stuff is The Garden, Locomotive, RNDTH, ISE, and SCOM.

I think they are close to being great...and I don't think these tracks were meant to be heard. I am with Tom Zutaut. I think the leaks are board mixes that the band was using for practice for a tour. The different mixes are to accentuate or bring out certain parts of the song so the band members can hear them clearly for rehearsal. We obviously didn't get the bass mix because Tommy's bass is buried WAY low on all the tracks!:haha: Unlike some other nameless few around here, I actually believe you will hear Tommy's bass loud and clear on ALL the final mixes for the album.:peace:

Like I told you in pm James, he also played a bunch of stuff for the heavyweights at Uni in Dec 07.....which certainly jives with Beta's comments that the album was done before xmas 07. This info really tells us nothing.

Tommy was recommended by Josh Freese.:butt:

Russ, I am sure Dougie and Merck thought they could get the album out as well......remember, managers work for Axl. Don't think for a second that these guys will hold any more weight with Axl than his gardener does. I don't give a shit who they are. Axl is a tough nut to crack.
