Would love to hear a review from someone who was at the Hammerstein Ballroom 10 years ago and also made it into the Troubadour last night.
Jesus.... I've been hanging around here 12 years.
And still no Atlas Shrugged.
8 years here, and all I want is the rest of this:

Wow just saw a tv commercial for the gillette gig! Basically the same stitched together footage of Axl Slash and Duff with Paradise City/WTTJ in the background.
Surreal to see.
We should meet up, mannnn..

"More important than birth of my kid."
"Best day of my life."Agreed. The first guy in line had a 'Rose Tattoo' t-shirt. Only a diehard would wear that AND know what it means to the band. I'm sure that porn star bitch later in the segment was clueless, as was the crappy reporter.
But like I told a friend of mine. What if we were there today? If I got a ticket for $10 bucks, i'd kill to protect it like it was "my preciousssss" But my friend told me immediately, he loved GN'R, but he could take that $10 ticket and flip it for $2,000
I wouldn't sell it for a million. I'm not fucking kidding. If I had a ticket right now... no amount of money, pussy would get me to get rid of it. Now power... ehh... too much of 'ol JR in me not to listen to that offer.
Those 10 dollar tickets are priceless in the correct hands. Some people are just greedy cunts.

No way 7 and 8 year olds would dig GNR.
My 5 year old makes me put Live At The Ritz in the car daily. My 16 year old's favorite song is Better.

GUNS N’ ROSES AND THE LEGENDARY GRUNGE BAND WILL APPEAR TOGETHER IN LAS VEGAS
Guns N’ Roses aren’t known for sharing the stage with grunge bands, but don’t tell that to Alice in Chains. The Seattle grunge boys have been tapped to open for the upcoming Guns N’ Roses reunion concerts at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 8 and 9.I actually think this pairing makes sense. I find ‘80s hard rock fans have an affinity for Alice in Chains over other grunge bands.
The shows are also something of a 2016 rarity. Aside from the GN’R gigs, Alice in Chains’ only other show on the books for 2016 so far is a headlining appearance in July at the Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin.
Guns N’ Roses have a handful of reunion dates booked for 2016. On top of the Las Vegas shows, the guys will headline both weekends of the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in California and perform two concerts in Mexico City, on April 19 and 20. Guns N’ Roses’ reunion lineup will feature original members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan. Original guitarist Izzy Stradlin expressed that he won’s be involved with the GN’R reunion shows.
I can dig it. Duff is tight as hell with that whole "aging Seattle 90's "Grunge Clique"...
I mean shit... Soundgarden opened up for them back in the day before their breakout Superunknown
Not to mention.....
#69 Re: The Sunset Strip » Megadeth Mega Thread » 490 weeks ago
I was very underwhelmed by everything Megadeth had put out since Endgame. That record was a masterpiece, and I expected more of the same, and was profoundly disappointed. Twice.
On a side note:
The Tout Le Mode re-record was disgustingly bad. It was a pile of hot shit.
Dystopia is the follow up to Endgame I've been waiting for and then some. It's absolutely delightful. It's disturbing how the man can put out albums as brilliant as this and Endgame, and also put out such uninspired trash like Thirteen and Supercollider.

Different level of hit or miss though. The misses back in the day were still decent at least (too much rasp or whatever but still powerful). The misses today are a total disaster where you can't even tell it's Axl Rose singing.
I have disagree, some of those old performances can be painful to hear and shows why he's so careful with his voice now. Hope he finds a happy medium.
I just hope he's in shape. '06 shape. His voice has always been hit or miss.
