All due respect to Duff, but it's a long bow to draw to suggest he has it in his locker to write something of the calibre of 'Civil War'...
Have you ever read the writing credits or backstory of the song? He wrote the “black armband” part.
In your defense he also wrote So Fine.

First half of the video is synched well with live footage. Second half looks like they gave up. What’s the AI? The animation? It’s alright but I don’t know why you’d ever disclose that.

I actually kinda like how polarizing this song is
Literally almost every CD era song is fine in its own right…it’s hype that makes things divisive. Happened with Prostitute/Song 2 for sure, and Sorry. Monster/Soul Monster is or will be the same. When it doesn’t live up to whatever Sebastian Bach said it was, it’s deemed shit, which is a little unfair. But, they allowed this to happen.
