Looking forward to GTA 4 but until I get a copy I bought Gran Tourismo 5 Prologue and it is freaking incredible!!! The "inside of car" view is amazing and the realism is out of this world. Less than 40 bucks too!! N I C E ! ! !

That's right, thanks. I always thought that one was hilarious.
My all time favorite avatar is the one I used several times years ago of Justine Frischman footage from the Connection video. It got all sorts of reactions.
That av is impossible to find. Once my old dell comp took a shit, I lost it forever.
That's the bad thing about computer crashes you lose some great stuff. I lost all kinds of rare songs, pics, etc when mine crashed in early '06.

Sometimes you run across some Avatars on the boards that are just great! One of my favorites was the one where the penguin "slaps" the other penguin in the back pushing him into the water, that was hilarious! (Was that the one November Rain used for awhile?? Can't recall.

Sorry about your cat NR, I live near the main road and have lost quite a few over the years. Most likely this wasn't on purpose. As far as the cat disappearing it could be the person who hit him feels terrible about it and didn't want you to have to see him like that but didn't want to have to tell you either. I think they should tell you, but still... The other scenario is maybe the highway department seen him and took care of it. Either way the good thing is it was probably very quick unlike some prolonged thing.

While I'm glad we were updated the truth is the "cat was out of the bag" so it wasn't like a real act of generousity. I know negativity is high right now (why wouldn't it be?) but they HAD to say something because Robin will be touring with NIN soon. That's kind of hard to brush off or ignore.
This isn't a good situation in my opinion. The only thing good that could happen would be a reappearance from an old fave to reenter the lineup. I'm sick of session players.

One thing to say to these CD era members.....
If you aren't willing to mention GNR, don't use the GNR name to promote all the other shit you do. The ONLY reason this guy(and others) gets interviews is because of his/their current status in GNR.
The avoidance of not only the elephant in the room, but also the small fish is completely absurd.
The only two people to show any class during this fiasco are BH and Finck. These other guys follow orders, but they milk the name for whatever money, attention, other projects, etc. they can get out of it.
Its pathetic.

I don't know why the fuck Axl needs one...what is there to talk about?... a fucking album that has taken a decade and a half to release and has went from "mythical" to "joke"? Give me a break.
