Although I like STP and the music Scott did with them he strikes me more and more as an asshole.  The bullshit he spouted off about Axl a couple years back now shit like this: "a handful of discontents who at one time used to call themselves a gang."  Whatever, keep spouting off smart ass shit and see how well that goes over with your former band.  For the sake of good music (STP had some great stuff) please shut your skinny ass up awhile...unless you are singing.

All this shit just makes me angry that Axl doesn't step up and release the fucker, puting a stop to these losers "15 minutes of fame" once and for all.  I have never wanted an album so badly and yet at the same time hated it.  The bullshit that has came with the anticipation is ridiculous.

wow...sounds like you have had a bad time with the plumbing LLL!  That sucks, get someone in there a.s.a.p. or at least throw some drano down all the drains and see what happens.  Good luck, I fuckin' HATE plumbing!!

Best thing that could have happened.  No offense to any VR fans...but come on....don't you really think there was MUCH more potential than that?  I do.  STP will be a welcome return and any GOOD music from the remaining VR members will be highly anticipated.  If they get the right singer (Weiland didn't fit from the get go) we may still hear some great stuff.

Are you in Virginia Guns?? I never knew that.

Yeah, every time I drive down South & pass by I think it's "Man-Asses". Still pretty close.

Sure am, moved back from North Carolina (near Cape Hatteras) awhile back.  The taxes here are insane! tongue

There's a town in Virginia called Manassas that I see when driving on I-95.

I have several friends from Manassas, it's actually a city that has 35-40 thousand residents.  That area is getting huge, in fact all of Northern Virginia is.  I live a few hours south of Manassas.   I see what it looks like...."Man-asses"...lol, I never thought about that.  It's syllibication is actually Ma·nas·sas.  If you're a history buff the Civil War battles of Bull Run were fought in this area, the confederates called these "the battles of Manassas".

There's a small suburb a few miles away called "Fuzzy Hole"...the funny thing is there is some "quiet roads" in this area and many people go there to make out as teens.  That was one of the first places I ever got to third base!

We knew it was coming, I still kind suspect the whole Dr Pepper thing was a gag (maybe even an April Fool's gag at that) but when Axl turned the tables on them by replying it got busted and could even happen now.

This is a pic I found of my actual exit for work. I take I-75 to exit 69, Big Beaver each and everyday I work. So... yes.... I get off on Big Beaver everyday.

Deja-fuckin'-Vu Russ!!  I am almost certain I've taken that very exit!!!  I don't know if it is just my mind playing tricks on me or what but that seems so very familiar, even the landscape around the exit sign.

The name is kinda cool and buzzsaw made a very good point about the band being more important than the singer.  That was the case with Van Halen and although I prefer Roth-era VH they did pretty good with Sammy.  Now Gary....geez, that was a bad idea!
