While probably true, without information we have nothing with it we have a chance at least.

All people are capable of it from any nation, they just need enough information

I'm def gonna have a read of some of those links  you posted.

In relation to your link about the prevention of US arms transfers to Israel.
Do you remember a few years back the Irish public found out the US was using Ireland as a launch pad for some of their planes in their war plans for Iraq?. Im pretty sure the people got out and protested to stop that too, our governement agreed to it on the quiet but when the public found out they were having none of it.

Don't you know the winner of the X factor is far more important than those.

The media everywhere is just so fucked up, if it was'nt so sad it would be funny.

I have no problem with wikileaks.  I have a problem with the people on here name calling instead of having a civil discussion when anybody questions anything they say.  It's not rude, it's ignorant, and considering how "enlightened" they are painting themselves as, you think they might try to show it instead of displaying pure ignorance.  I'm sure they will say it's some attempt to level the playing field or some pseudointellectual bullshit like that, but it's quite obvious they are completely incapable of anything remotely resembling intellectual conversation.

I agree 100% with you here.
I tend to lurk more on this site as I'm a very shy person generally, I was particularily interested with this topic so decided to post some of my opinions. I feel like when people (s) get insulting not only does it bring the thread off topic, but I feel like not wanting to post anymore as not to be dragged into it.

This is not aimed at just one person in this thread either, just so you guys know I'm not taking sides.

Glad we are back to being civil.

Indeed.

I'm sure the majority of people on the opposing side would most definitely take said view if they would be willing to admit it honestly.

I found that poison pill article you posted interesting, this part really caught my eye, and surely rings true.

I have a strong feeling that the Chinese must be rejoicing at all the “retroactive law invention” that is going on in the West to put one man in jail.  Because if Assange had been a Chinese citizen promoting transparency in China we would be lining up to give him the Nobel Prize.

Just watched Devil and I gotta say I loved it.
Its only 80mins and the majority of the movie is shot in an elevator where a group of people are stuck and one is the devil.

I would say its the best movie Night Syamalan has been involved with in a long time, pity it was'nt longer so the characters could've been fleshed out more but still a very enjoyable movie.
