I want to hear Chinese Democracy as it was supposed to be - we never got that. What was released in 2008 is a compilation of what was leaked online, bundled together with a few unheard songs (butchered) and then shat out by the record company.

People may argue that's all it ever was but I just don't believe that.

Even to this day nothing would excite me more in terms of Guns N' Roses than to hear Axl's original vision of the album from back in 2001/2002.

Whether it's disappointing or not... I don't particularly care.

Not to sound "ungrateful", but I don't like it. I was convinced it was made in a basement on someone's laptop until the drums and some of the guitars solidified it as real.

It just sounds like an unfinished mess to me. Though I suppose that's kinda the point since this is most certainly a rough demo.

Axl's voice - while the same vocal track which eventually ended up on CD - hasn't yet been cleaned up (with autotune) and falls flat on several occasions throughout.

With that said I'm glad to have heard it and would be very interested in getting my hands on further material.

Co-signed.

It feels lame popping up like this after a 6 month absence, but please.

Edit: Thank you very much.

I haven't been logged in nor posted in quite some time, but just thought I'd pop by and "pay my respects" so to speak.

Gutted. Absolutely heartbroken. Unexpectedness of it all had me genuinely shocked. When it was confirmed to be suicide it came down like a ton of bricks. To see one of your childhood heroes - who has helped you get through various hardships in life with their inspiring words and music - succumb to their own set of demons is enormously depressing. I can't even begin to fathom what his poor family and close friends must be going through at the moment.

I consider Superunknown to be one of the greatest records ever made. Listened to it religiously while growing up.

I got fortunate enough to see Soundgarden live back in 2013. Now consider myself even more lucky than I felt back then. A legendary band with a frontman who still had the ability to have the audience leap into the palm of his hand simply through the use of a mesmerising and spellbinding voice.

His own work remains equally close to my heart. Maybe even more so because of how personal it could be. Was scheduled to see him perform solo acoustically in 2016 but got ill and couldn't go - something which I know feel tremendously guilty about. I used to believe I would get another chance in the future up until yesterday morning.

Chris Cornell was (and is) the stuff of music legend. A vocal demigod whom will never, ever be forgotten.

May he rest in peace.

England (read: Roy Hodgson) fucked it.

Not starting Vardy is a disgrace to the nation.

Can you see the misery on their faces?

He wants to reverse the same-sex marriage laws set by the supreme court. That is the very definition of bigotry.

As far as being racist, these ten examples certainly do not paint him in a flattering light.

Plenty more where those came from as well.

Just because you are not shouting "nigger!" from the rooftops does not make you any less of one.

With that said - it is obvious that I am not going to change your minds and you are not going to change mine so I am not sure why either of us are really bothering with all this. We are just of differing opinion(s), I guess.

And that is indeed okay. I mean no disrespect.

There is quite a big difference between a totalitarian communist regime and implementing social democracy, you know.

I live in one of the the countries that uses the latter and it is on top of the charts across the board for a reason - and I certainly do not need to pay the equivalent of ten dollars for a gallon of milk because of it.

People just want to be able to live. It has zero to do with not working hard enough or being entitled.

Health care and education are two main fundamentals that need to be covered in the taxes that you pay.

Also, let us not kid ourselves when it comes to African Americans or other minorities supposedly being privileged because they absolutely are not in any sense of the word. Especially in the US.

People call Trump racist and bigoted because that's exactly what he is.

I'm not ever going to support violence against the ones who choose to support him, but let's call a spade a spade.

The man's biggest selling point is building a giant wall to keep Mexicans out.

Honestly rather shocked to see appreciation of his deeds on here.
