Imagine a reunion without Adler? I get the impression that would really hurt Steven put him in a bad state...something Slash probably would care about
Has to be Axl/Slash/Duff/Izzy and Steven

back to the studio!

The song writing ability is SEVERLY hampered without Izzy. There's a reason Axl, Slash & Duff haven't gotten back to their output from 1991 back.
With that said, Izzy also needs them. He's good, but he's also missing something post-1991.
Does izzy actually need them? Seems to me he's quite happy doing his own thing. Makes you wander though - if he joined up with slash whether that would make axl rethink reunion.

Holy shit an apology! Without blaming anyone else!
What next a new album? Interview?
#806 Re: The Sunset Strip » Shooter Jennings » 822 weeks ago
Never heard of Shooter Jennings until I read this thread but listened to a couple of tracks on you tube last night (this ol wheel and steady at the wheel)
Other than Black Ribbons what other albums does anyone recommend? Prefer more of the rock, less country.

Going back to the original topic - just seen slips of the acoustic show, Axl looks like he's having a blast...perhaps he is happy at the moment...or today even!

Interesting listening to Alice Cooper's take on Axl @ Planet Rock, referring to the late appearance Reading Festival. He said it wasn't as if they didn't know about the curfew, so why just let everybody down. The late starts are predictable, so not that 'rock n' roll'.
After years of defending Axl (and he still goes onto say he's a great singer and show man) he just thinks his hearts not in it. But rather than just give up he'd prefer to be unhappy and let the world watch him self - destruct. Quote Alice
'If you don't wanna make an album - don't!'
'If you don't want to play onstage - don't!'
I tend to agree, although I imagine with Axl one day he's on a high and thinking about multiple albums, videos and worldwide tours, the next he's on the verge of giving it all up (i.e. self-destruct mode).
Axl was also featured in the london metro yesterday, although the article wasn't particularly complimentary had a picture of him in a dustbin.
Now is the time to release some more music Axl - show them you mean business!

If only they'd stick in just a couple of the 'other' 'UYI' tunes, this set list would be just fine. Perhaps also oh my god
