That Better vid is pretty good in fairness but it's a shame that at the last show of the residency the most interesting thing that seemingly happened was Beta may or may not have played the bass during a jam.

IRS was a staple in 06 and always went over well with casuals, I'm surprised they don't play it more.

True, BB is all Batman, whereas TDK kinda becomes the Joker show, but in a way isn't that just as much a true Batman story as any that focuses on just Batman.

I'm always puzzled why people rank BB over TDK, for me BB and TDK are on a par with the exception that TDK contains one of the all time great villain performances, which elevates it as the superior film.

This is looking amazing. The beaches and mountains are a far more pleasing backdrop than the drab and dingy Liberty City of GTAIV, it just looks a far more enticing world to step into. 3 main characters could be an interesting dynamic, personally I'd rather just have the one character to play through but I'm interested to see how it works out. I think to have a robbery focused game is good, as others have said heist missions were always some of the best so a more bank job based game should be good.
I think you're right about Niko being uncharismatic Axlin and it certainly didn't help but I think by taking the more serious route they did they lost some of the charm of the games along the way. I must have played through GTA3, VC and SA countless times and enjoyed it each time, with IV I finished the game and never cared to play it again. I just don't think it was as enjoyable a world to be in as the previous titles.

For christ sake it's a forum and small one. If anyone thinks I follow guys around you clearly have issues. Russ's comments about why I posted my opinion on TWAT are in fact fucking dellusional. No ifs ands or buts about it. Flat out wrong from top to bottom. Also FYI it was you who called me a troll for saying what I did. :thumbup
See dude it's stuff like this, it's getting to the point where every time someone has a differing opinion to you they are 'fucking delusional' or 'moronic' or 'plain retarded' or 'fucking pathetic' or 'a clown' or 'a whiner'. Is anybody getting personally offended by any of this, I'd hope not but it's not the point, this forum hasn't been built on a culture of put downs as soon as there's a difference of opinion. Sure things boil over from time to time but it's getting like clockwork with you;
Bono posts X
Poster A disagrees with X
Bono calls poster A fucking delusional
All we're looking for is less of the above, we don't expect you to be making
at each other during a disagreement but the first port of call doesn't have to be 'that pov is mornonic or deluded'. There's a happy medium which 99% of the time everyone respects and understands, all we're looking for is the same from you.

Actually I've pointed it out quite clearly that the head umpire who thinks he's the show seems to be under the impression my original comments were insulting and meant only to gain attention. Such a joke. And as Monkey pointed out nothing I said was even remotely insulting yet a handfull of members felt the need to hurl insults for no apparent reason. Ok fine but expect it back. Whatever. It's your guys tea party.
That's not the way I've read it at all but I'll leave it there. This thread is far enough off topic as it is.

Which is what he was banned for, not saying he didn't like TWAT.
Nothing wrong with liking or not liking a song but don't expect an easy ride on ANY forum when you post that a song that is generally considered one of the bands best (certainly new era) is a mess and overrated. You're going to cop some heat, if you then throw the toys out of the pram when you get it you've only yourself to blame.

Thing is I don't begrudge him the privileges or whatever he obviously gets from GNR now, for a GNR fan who set up a fan site in his bedroom in the late 90's it's a dream come true. What always bothered me (and still would if I ever went there anymore, I'm sure) is the God complex he developed when he got on the 'inside'. People who'd posted at his site for years and gave it the traffic that made GNR take notice of it in the first place were being jumped on and banned for voicing their opinion which had been welcomed for so long. Anyone who didn't tow the new party line was ridiculed for questioning anything because they didn't know the 'facts' and worst of all were then told that the site had always been run that way.
Thank god for GnrEvo eh?
