Yeah that's fair enough. I went to see TDK on Imax after seeing it twice in the cinema and it blew me away, it was like watching it for the first time again. Obviously none of BB would be in Imax so you'd be paying extra for nothing in that sense.

Hathaway seems an awful choice for Catwoman. Fully expecting that aspect to bomb.

Otherwise hopeful to see a summer movie for once that's actually entertaining. The last few years have been utter dread.

I was unimpressed by the Hathaway casting as well, but they supposedly turned away some pretty big names and talented actresses so they must have seen something in her.

I think she'll play a much bigger part in this film than Maggie did in TDK (which I also think was a casting error) so if she does bomb it's going to be far more noticeable.

Russ- I think there's a lot more in IMAX in this film, TDK had like 6 scenes in IMAX whereas there's supposed to be about a third of this film in IMAX.

"Mr. Wayne." If that shit doesn't send chills down your spine, I don't know what will. I love how Bane catches his punch and then looks at him like, "Bitch please!!!!"

That looks like it's going to be a great scene, obviously confirms Bane discovers Batmans real identity as well.

Clearly you can't judge without seeing the whole film but yet again it appears they've got the villain casting spot on. Just like with Ledger you totally forget that you're watching 'Handsome Bob' from Rock N Rolla causing carnage from behind that mask.

Spot on. The ability to have a mature discussion without it turning into a school yard was always one of the reasons people came here in the first place.

What's the marathon thing? Begins, TDK and TDKR one after the other?

Does anyone remember on the other rock station on the game, the female DJ when she played WTTJ would come back on air after the song and say 'you know I slept with that guy once' 16 ?

Probably my favourite game of all time, made even better by Axls little cameo.

Booked my tickets for IMAX screening of TDKR on July 21st, can't wait!

So I saw GNR in Manchester last night, it's the third time I've seen them at this venue now (06,10,12) and this was a) the poorest attended, the whole top tier of the arena was closed and b) without a doubt the best show of the 3 I've seen.

Thin Lizzy were good and by coming on at 9 the wait for GNR who came on at 11 went by quite quickly. I could harp on about start times but it's been done in other threads and I'd made suitable arrangements so it wasn't too big a deal.
As a show, fantastic, Axl sounded great, he was clear in the mix and his voice was excellent. I thought he looked better than in 2010 as well. Particualar highlights surprisingly were songs I don't usually pay much attention to when GNR hit the road and videos make it to Youtube. ISE, Brownstone, Sorry, Estranged and Nightrain really stood out. I hope a good video of Sorry surfaces cause the vocals were fantastic. Nice to get Shacklers on the setlist which I wasn't expecting. All in all a great night and with the show clocking in at just over 3 hours I'm completely knackered today, I have no idea how some of you do 5/6 shows in a couple of weeks span 14

I think he goes on late cause he virtually lives a nocturnal lifestyle and to him playing in the wee hours of the morning is no big deal it's just mid afternoon to him. I don't think it's meant to be disrespectful to anyone, I don't think he sees it like that. I think (and obviously I'm no expert) he just views it as people want to see him perform, he lives his life by night and he's at his best later on in the night therefore that's what time he goes on to give the best show he can. On a literal level it makes sense before you take into account the thousands of people that are involved in a GNR show either as spectators or crew and the effects it has on them.

As a side note what I also find irritating is the way GNR start times are always the focus of any media coverage for any show they do meanwhile other artists pull similar stunts and remain media darlings (admittedly perhaps not with the same regularity). I was speaking to someone the other day about my upcoming GNR show and the topic of late starts came up and they said they'd been to see Rihanna this year and she had been 2 hours late to stage without any explanation. Lady Gaga is regularly late on stage and I know Russel Brand has been known to keep audiences waiting up to 2 hours for his shows yet this sort of reputation doesn't dog these performers like it does GNR.
