I'll explain why. And my explanation doesn't prevent a reconcilliation between all of them. But say GNR is going in the Hall, and the original lineup do indeed perform. Do you really think people will wanna hear or see Axl's version of GNR? Hell no! They'll beg for a reunion and fast. And not only a tour but an album as well. And while I could see Axl agreeing to a one night thing, him agreeing to a full fledged reunion. I don't think so. He'll probably wanna continue this thing with Nu GNR now that he seems ready to make this work. And it'll be impossible to make it work after a performance of the original lineup. That's why. So I say let Axl do this thing now that he seems into it and see if it fails or succeed and have that induction in 10 years. And who knows maybe sooner.
The perfect move and if I were Axl, this is the move I'd push for, would be to get all of GNR up on that stage.

Really it would all come down to Slash.
I'd be happy with that, GnR old n new all up on that stage together. For the performance, you could play Jungle with the originals, Don't cry with the 93 lineup and Better with Bucket and fink, then MAYBE bust out a new track with DJ n Ron..... Be fukin perfect.

^^Yeah I watched the Tokyo DVD lately I used to think the Wild Horses rendition was perfect.... not so much now.
Worse, I talked it up to my friends and made them watch it too... awkward
