#1 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » SMKC #5 being recorded in November » 9 days ago

Slash has updated us that SMKC5 is recorded and completed, but due to busy schedules (Alter Bridge have a new album out in January 2026), it won’t come out until 2027.

People are speculating that means that GNR will release an album in 2026, but we all know that won’t happen. Just more endless touring, and maybe some reheated Chinese leftovers.

I think I worked on about 40 songs, including outtakes, B-sides, and God knows what else

This is why GNR are absolutely nuts, this guy worked on 40 songs, none of which we’ll ever get to hear.

Seems to be the one constant with this bloody band - existing songs that we will never hear.

Aside from not releasing new music, they seem more motivated than previous years, especially Axl. His voice may be gone, but he seems to be in great shape and great spirits up there, and they’ve been mixing up the setlists quite a lot this run.

Isaac has given them a real shot in the arm as well.

You’d think with this positive mindset, that they’d naturally go into releasing a new album. But this band (Axl) never does what we expect of them.

Hi, are there any news regarding song or album releases @ sp1at? The latest Duff interview snippet from Finnland sounds promising on one hand but on the other hand we are talking about GN`R! Thanks for any updates!

There is, yes. When I asked earlier in the year, there wasn't

August and September was the American tour. It is obviously not any longer. It'll come when it comes

Just go with what Duff said. And just go with whatever they say.

If you notice, there have been less interviews, so what I do is counter intuitive. It breeds mistrust, which is not what I set out to do, I was more looking at it as a guiding light of sorts.

Anyway, I'm just staying out of everything now. The band need space and trust, which is fine

So all this time you’ve been saying you’re some inside link to the band, you’re now back tracking, and saying you’re just like the rest of us, and don’t know anything…?

Ok… 10

Metallica-GNR co-headline tour for 2026 confirmed!

Yeah, I really don’t get the timing issues. Whoever is doing his IEMs needs to be fired. These are songs he’s sung hundreds of times, how can he be so out of time so badly? It makes it sound like an absolute train wreck

If we weren’t sold on Isaac before, how can you not be after that Sabbath performance? So powerful yet in the groove. Gives the band a shot in the arm it needed. And the absence of Dizzy and pointless Melissa wasn’t noticed at all. They should continue like this. Just get into a studio before Axl’s voice is completely gone.

There are a lot of negative comments online about his voice, and yeah, it was bad, but he gave it all he had, and the crowd was lame anyway. Were they even Sabbath fans?

Looks like there is going to be no North America tour dates this year.

Any excuse not to release new music.

If that setlist is correct, it looks as though they didn’t play It’s So Easy either. That’s gotta be a first for them?

As much as I give them shit, yeah, it’s good to see them mix it up. I just wish they’d dig deeper into their even rarer seldom played songs.

Axl much better job being in time with the band the 2nd time around. See, just needed a warmup.

Imagine if the "Singer" practiced songs before playing them Live?

Instead "Fans" pay Hundreds of $$$ to see him practice the song Live onstage smile

Pretty much this. All of this.

It’s just not good enough at this point.
