All I can say about the set is WOW.

The remastering itself it nothing short of astounding. We played a few of the records straight through yesterday and each of them were a vast improvement over anything I'd heard before. Abbey Road in particular sounded like it was recorded yesteday.

The packaging itself is terrific and the book is awesome.

That's awesome! You can't beat a great deal with the Fab Four.  I love Abbey Road so much. Is the vinyl copy you got superior to 2009 remasters?  Make sure to blast some Rubber Soul and Pepper on that turntable! I was listening to some Beatles tunes on my ipod on the way to campus today. I may pick up the Magical Mystery Tour DVD/Blu ray the next time I do some music and video shopping for myself and others.
