eddie vedder went on and didnt even know he was going to play at that spot and sounded great, yet Axl he knew he was going on sounded like shit but he didnt have time LOL

People need to stop making excuses for axl

Axls problem is he probably has not sang since the last tour and that is a joke esp with vegas coming up. Its going to be a huge disaster.

im starting to beieve he just cant sing with rasp any more
i used to think he was choosing not to for preservation

it looked at times like he tried to and when he did his voice dropped out of tune and dropped in volume

then he went back to mickey mouse

this was rio bad

There is no reason to be negative. Axl takes time to warm up; he didn't have much a chance tonight. But his voice reminds me more of 2001 than 2006; much helium, little rasp. I miss that edge.

I suspect conditioning is an issue, may be he is not using the vocal coach anymore.

But The Bridge School show was interesting b/c it offered the possibilities of collaborations and guest spots.....none it happened.

Yeah, it was a little rough in spots at the beginning.  Got better towards the end.  Patience was pretty solid.

I think the guest spots would come more in the finale.  I don't think there were many during the regular sets, if any.

BUT, I can't wait around to find out.  Need to get to sleep so I'm not a walking zombie tomorrow.

Overall, great seeing them perform at such an event.  Great seeing Ron and DJ trying to get the kids involved.  Good stuff overall.

better was cool

russ - axl souned good and only sounded good when he sang in his natural range..

yet he chose to sing falsetto in parts of used to love her when the studio version would have been natural range.

it makes no sense - does he not know how bad his highss sound these days?

why not cater the songs to his natural range.

heres an idea....releaes a new album without the 6 octave range

new material that everyone wants and that you can sing live

at this rate hes killing his career
