Hey, a new batch of leaks with Buckethead and Finck on 'em would make my day. I'd even be interested in hearing the DJ Ashba version of Better that they were planning to release as a single.

It was on the big MSL list of leaked document titles – the one that mentioned "Better_Gone.mp3". Maybe it's been debunked, I dunno – but it'd make a good deal of sense. I get the feeling that Better was supposed to be a proper single release, with a video and everything – but it had to be nixed at the last minute when 
left the band. Would've taken too long to re-edit the video, and his replacement doesn't play on a song which prominently features him (and 
– watch the video and you can see that adding yet another guitarist to it would've rendered it entirely absurd).
So the solution was to belatedly release a reworked version of Better with 
, to promote the US tour (or the Vegas dates? I forget which). It's a "new" song, it showcases the current band, it'd kinda-sorta-work...
