I was really only a causal soundgarden fan compared to the hardcores on here - but I was a big fan of his work in Audioslave and his solo stuff too.

Such a rare voice, so powerful, so much tone, such unique melodies and such a beautiful lyricist.

He gave so much to us.

Yeah, incredibly skilled singer no doubt. Try hitting any of those high notes from his SG years, makes you realize the talent there.  Talented rocker, will be missed.

Ashame, Cornell, Cobain, Staley, all gone with so much talent. RIP
