CD was fine until Axl had to start putting Frank (drum fills randomly on songs) and Bumblebee on the songs

If the album was those Skewl leaks, the album would have been better off. The album really took a turn for the worse after those versions.  They are still not as good as those 99/00 versions but it would have still been ok.

I was sitting in the Best Buy parking lot three hours before they opened on the day CD came out, and I was the only person there the entire time. I honestly thought it would be chaos, but nobody cared at all. I tried showing the album to friends over the years, and nobody cared really.

It seems like as the years go by, more people are finding out about, or going back and giving a re-listen to the album, and it's been much more well received as of late. I don't get mad if people don't like it. I'm old, and so I've listened to AFD 5 billion times.. I'm burnt out on it, and don't think I'll ever be not burnt out on it, so CD era Axl is really good for me personally.
