I always thought of Roger Water's era Floyd on Sorry and Russ whether you think it sounds like it or not. It's not the first time it's been discussed here tongue.

I happened to come across the old (awful) musicradar review of CD today and saw this quote about Sorry:

"'Influenced' by Pink Floyd is one thing. 'Xeroxing' them is quite another.

I'm a HUGE Floyd fan and the thought of Floyd has never, ever crossed my mind when listening to Sorry. Am I alone on that?

The only part that ever registered as Floyd for me was really that guitar solo by Bucket.  Otherwise, no, especially not with that Sabbath-esque guitar riff during the choruses.  So, I always thought that "xeroxing" comment was off-base and myopic in scope.

And what "Waters era Floyd" are you referring to? That phrase covers a ton of different musical styles.

"The Wall" albeit with Axl's attitude.

I thought it was a manager or a promoter.

And I can't think of a single Pink Floyd song Sorry sounds like. I always thought Led Zeppelin, like No Quarter.
