#91 Re: The Garden » Taliban control of Afghanistan on the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 » 237 weeks ago

They should have evacuated personal that helped NATO.

Then said hey we are going.

What a waste of money and time.

I’m surprised the Taliban hasn’t tried to shoot down any planes. But, I assume they’re lettting people and the planes leave because they know they’ll be met with a nasty response.

I don’t think you can negotiate either with these people as well.

Afghanistan is just going to become a no go zone and pariah of a place.

I assume predator drone strikes and other air strikes will be on the table if it becomes a breeding ground for terror.

When UBL was killed in Pakistan that’s when I thought what a waste. Yes the initial invasion to get UBL and al Qaeda was the right decision. After he slipped away at Tora Bora that’s when all efforts should have been made to get him.

Anyhow, one can’t defend a country indefinitely, and ones own people need to step up. Obviously, they didn’t have much faith in their own government and preferred their tribal warlords factions and the Taliban.

Let China and Russia enjoy The place where empires can’t win, if they acknowledge the new government. I know China has more at stake due to their belt and road initiative.

Seven
Thyme
Zodiac

Have always interested me.

Traditional radio is dead. I used to listen years ago. It’s always the same shit.

I use my iPod still. Load up tons of albums. If I hear about a new band I’ll put it on.

The gf has Spotify and that’s not bad either.

Commercials are annoying. Radio personalities are annoying. I don’t need a weather update I have my phone. Traffic will be traffic. Don’t need that either.

So it’s Sirius satellite radio (if I get it again), iPod or Spotify.

Eat shit radio and local tv news. And national news too.

If I want to watch decent news I turn into the BBC. Just give me the facts. I don’t need some left wing or right wing dick wad telling me their opinion.

With that said though I hope they release this as a special edition 45.

Just saw that pro shot absurd video. Anyone know what shirt Slash is wearing with the FCK.

#95 Re: The Garden » The Wrestling thread » 240 weeks ago

Big time boneheaded move by releasing Bray Wyatt! Like what the fuck were they thinking?

I haven’t watched wrestling since the Maybe 2005 or 2006.

On and off I’ve seen some stuff.

But Bray had a good gimmick, and a fun wrestler to watch.

If they’re gearing up for a sale of the company that’s pathetic.

Heard Ric Flair got released too.

Yikes!

#96 Re: Guns N' Roses » Why can't the fanbase drop the negativity even when there is good news » 240 weeks ago

I’m happy about the new version of Silkworms.

That’s cool.

People bitch and complain cause they like this band. They want more.

As for tshirts fuck that shit. Maybe if they had shirts that were made in the USA I’d get their merch. But they want to be greedy in that regard so they can eat my shit.

1st thing I thought was Axl lurking our forum, about us bitching?

Is pussy full of maggots, lyric gone? If so I get it. Kind of sounds sexist, and me too.

But, I now might be tempted to see them if the border opens, I’ll be at the Detroit show.

Good on you Axl for not being a Mike Love but, a Brian Wilson.

Fans of your craft like your weird shit man. Nostalgia tours eat shit.

Follow that muse.

Reworking a song isn’t a bad thing. Anyhow, positive that they played it. Sure we should be cynical due to the output of this band.

Hope this ignites a fire.  It’s far too easy to be a band like the Eagles, and the touring Beach Boys, and any other nostalgic fucks.

Hopefully this is a start of Guns N’ Roses weird shit, and rocking shit new albums.

#98 Re: The Garden » Covid 19 » 241 weeks ago

I got my 2nd dose of Pfizer on July 6th and let me tell you. I’m happy as hell.

The risk of covid is far worse than any side effects.

The fact that most governments in the world fucked this pandemic up should show one that any microchip conspiracy is inane.

People died unnecessarily from this. That’s my vibe up here in Ontario. My Provincial and Federal government failed us.

Good on everyone that’s gotten vaccinated. Don’t let this thing ice ya.

#99 Re: The Sunset Strip » Rolling Stones - No Huge, Iconic albums?!? » 246 weeks ago

She's So Cold is such a barn burner.

That's one of my favourite tracks.

Then I'd say: Shine A Light, She Smiled Sweetly, I Am Waiting, Coming Down Again, and Play with Fire.

I realize the ones just above aren't that hard hitting. But, yeah.

Stones have some good deep cuts. I forgot one that was on Tattoo You or Emotional Rescue that I really like  as well.
