Neither can I.

Let's all toe the official line and pretend it never happened.

It's up on vimeo.com. Just search for guns roses better and click "date" to get the newest uploaded.

Ha, didn't notice the litle devil jumping out of Axl's car at the beginning....

Yeah, EVERYONE believes that some "legal red tape" or Lars holding it up is the main reason it was never released....

None of us are 13.... (I think....)

It's nothing more than a fun look at the band on the road. A semi profesional throws this kinda stuff together in a heartbeat. And had it been realeased at the right time, it would have helped promote the band and CD. No doubt.

But under the current circumstances. It's awesome for no other reason than it's a rare thing for me to see something like this from my favourite band.

I leave it to others to obviously get upset about supposed conspiracy-red-tape theories and excuses.

You completely missed the sarcasm in Bono's post.

Nope, didn't miss a thing! 22
The sarcasm shined through as well as the usual angry BS.

Wow! Holy shit. I can totally see why it was never officially released. Lots of top secret stuff in that video. Plus could you imagine all the legal red tape they'd have had to go through to get that thing released. I can totally understand why Lars wouldn't sign off. My whole image of Lars is ruined now because of that last scene and I can only imagine how many fans Metallica would've lost had this been released. Plus you know thery coudln't edit that last part out because it was an absolutely integral part to the overall concept of the video. Also to have Metallica sign off and allow them to use the Enter Sandman lyrics would've no doubt been way too expensive. Plus the Suicide Girls would probably want royalties for being in the video. Man it's so much clearer to me now why everything in Gn'R land is much harder and way more complicated and consfusing then it is for any other band...... I mean that video.... wow! It would've caused a real shit storm in the music industry had it been released. It's clear to me the world just would not have been ready for that.

If they would've been a little more adventurous, they wouldn't have had to get everyone to sign off.
There are hundreds of ways to make a music video.
It's just a lazy promo for a lazy band.

I'm guessing everyone is trying to download it.

For those who have seen it; I assume it's pretty much live footage from the 06 tour?

Strange... The link loads and plays just fine for me!

Anyone know who the original poster over at mygnr were? (If that guy WAS the original poster...)

Someone over there said: "I wonder... Who was that man? Newbie, registered today, just one post with very important leak..."

"Exciting watching the show come 2gether!!"

Since the man himself says that, something more than the standard setlist must be under way for Vegas.

Cool for those of you going!

In my view, the music on CD is awesome as it is.

My guess is, if there is ANYTHING Axl is not happy about with the release of CD, it's gonna have to be the artwork. As far as I can recall that is the one thing that has been mentioned. Right? Something about another version of album-art being ready but didn't make it to press or whatever.....

A re-release of CD with new artwork is gonna fly totally under the radar and will only be discussed amung the hardcore of the hardcores. THAT is no big deal to the average rockfan or critic.

A re-release of CD with new versions of the songs (wether it's totally new versions of certain songs or just slightly remixed) IS gonna make some impact. And not of the positive kind!

Nah...I'm pretty sure it won't swing Axl's decision either way.

I realized as I hit submit I probably didn't phrase that well.  The fact the people are willing to throw money at subpar effort keeps him from having to put an effort into anything.

Now that doesn't mean it's YOUR fault specifically or Axl would have put some effort into CD had you not purchased a copy.  Heck, I'm doing my part too by going to a concert I fully expect to be the same half-assed show he's been doing off and on for the past 10 years and I have 2 copies of an album I have no intention of ever opening much less listening to.  We're all guilty because we're fans of Axl and/or this GnR on some level...and he can milk that forever without ever putting forth more effort than he has since 1994.

I hear you!

Even I'm bored to death at this point. That is why I have said that this Vegas-thing or at least around that timeframe should be the end of CDI and the beginning of the next chapter!
Doesen't matter to me if it's "old" songs from the CD-sessions or new songs written by the current lineup. EVERY release from GNR have had SOMETHING that I love very much!
But it's long over due to wrap this baby up! They've toured every corner of the world multiple times since 2008.
If anything, a one month party in Vegas could very well be a perfect way for the band to do just that. Wrap it up! No stress. No travelling. A great time for some hardcores, some avarage rockfans and a fat check!

NEXT.....

I'm not overly keen on a re-release. At least if it's only new artwork.

But I bet I'd buy it anyway.

If the leaked artwork from a few years ago are the real deal, I wouldn't mind getting that on vinyl! Great artwork and correct lyrics etc....

And as a result you are part of the problem.

Nah...I'm pretty sure it won't swing Axl's decision either way.
