I've enjoyed every movie on some level,  so I am sure I'll enjoy this whenever I get around to seeing it.  I take them for what they are...entertainment. I'm a big fan, but not a fan boy if that makes any sense.

If no one voted for him then why is he president ?

SG didn’t you vote for him?

I’m just saying...if a message board full of men cant find a single trump voter then that’s kind of interesting all by itself.

Does anyone here actually know a Trump voter?

They appear to be a mythical creature that is almost as rare as el chupacabra.

I'm sure others here voted for him, just not those active in this conversation. I don't find that surprising either given that there's no way any democrat would vote for him and the republican leaners still vote their mind and not straight ticket like the democrats do. Even SG didn’t vote for Moore even though he voted Trump.

That in a nutshell is why you guys drive me crazy. You're blindly committed to the cause and completely unwilling to even consider that maybe the democrats could be wrong about something.

You guys get way too worked up about what might happen.  Wait and see what does happen, then throw a fit if you don't like it.

I think this is more definitive. Previously it was unsubstatiated and Trumps lawyers denied it. Seems like no denying it at this point.

Correct, it wasn't as specific last week, and as you said...denied by Trump's lawyers. Mueller is getting too close, that's why they want to shut it all down. Criminal really. Just criminal. If you believe in the rule of law, then allow the investigation to continue. They had a dozen on Hillary at least, yet can't seem to see much of a reason here. This shouldn't be a partisan thing anymore. If you care about your country at all...

You cannot claim anything shouldn't be partisan...you're as partisan as they come.  If you cared about this country at all, you'd have to delete 3/4 of your posts in this thread that are filled with complete nonsense.

^ fair point. I'm confused on the people who are "for" the net neutrality decision. I get a kick out of it. No one here I don't think, but I've seen on FB & Twitter people who are blindly saying its a good thing, gets the government out of it, and claiming Obama added un-needed regulations and government control to the internet. Which is essentially the complete opposite of what it was.

I'm pretty indifferent on it tbh.  The bigger issue is the lack of competition in the ISP space.  Fix that and net neutrality is a non-issue.  That's how it should be resolved.

The difference between the parties is obvious.  The fact that there are far more similarities and people like you ignore that is more troubling.  You're letting the side show distract you, which is exactly the reason for the sideshow.

He was perfectly fine when he was funding the democrats.  That's when he did most of the things you claim to hate him for.  The hate really only emerged when he screwed you guys...

#1050 Re: The Garden » US Politics Thread » 439 weeks ago

Unless we get away from the extremes on both sides and more towards the center, who wins any of these elections is irrelevant.  Having extremist  democrats in charge is every bit as bad as having extremist republicans in charge. The answer isn't and never will be on one side or the other.
