Why the interest in Madagascar? Wouldn't that just be another version of the song, albeit myb not better or worse? I think I read it's a 99/00 version but still, any high expectations?

Thats awesome. Havent watched wrestling in years but would serve as pretty good casual entertainment once in a while.

Scraped was terrible, but I dont get all the love for Riad from posters. The song is like an awful Sega game scratching on a chalkboard

Yeah Prostirute came to mind for me too.
After a couple listens. Its got potential to have been ok. The vocals are bad & overall song just is not well put together.
I agree a polished mix could have a Soundgarden/STP vibe

Needs a different vocals mix or re-record. This ones terrible. I can see a Soundgarden vibe, the wrong mix of it & becomes a Superunknown copycat. It's good, could be really good, but those voxs.
Anyway, no reason to not release it, and no reason the kick out Slash & Duff over it. Man, in a parallel universe Guns is active thru the 90s the way the Stones stayed active thru the 70s among Zeppelin & metal taking off.

No way nineties Slash would have ever done this, or Catcher, or TIL. No way. Duff was a total mess at the time.
Well, so it was the drugs then... But not anything NIN or 'alternative' related. The UYI band could've played nearly all these songs, the ones myb they couldn't/wouldn't are the rejects like Riad & Shackler which I'd rather have Fall to Pieces or something off Contraband anyway.
Also, remember Slash was on those VH1 'Remember the...' or "Behind The Music" type shows an awful lot in the late 90s & was pretty straight & levelheaded. I think by 95/96 he wasn't the dope fiend he was in 89.

Can't say I'm much of a fan. The song was known & spoken about like it was some heavyweight, and it's kinda bland. Hate the Yes/Kansas style vocals, and it just kinda meanders. It's ok I guess, better than a couple of the songs that made it onto CD, but can't say its was a obvious solid song.
This is a different version than the one from the cell phone clip. Despite the shittier quality it sounded more fleshed out. Maybe we'll find out soon. This version sounds like a copied and pasted mess. Still good, but it has potential to be great.
Interesting thought about the 'copied & pasted mess'. Maybe there's a better put together, rockin version of the song, along the lines of 14 Years or YCBM.
One thing I'll say about all these leaks, is it kinda puts to death alot of the 90s "Axl wants to be Nine Inch Nails-ey". That was always the rumor, or my perception of what was going on. Doesn't seem to be the case. However, with that said, there's no reason the OG Guns couldn't have put down these tracks and called them their own. Just goes to show it probably wasn't so much 'stylistic difference' or changing of the times, just that Axl's difficult to deal with.

I feel Jared Leto kinda got shafted. I thought he had a pretty true to the comic & refreshingly new take on it. Now it seems we're just going back a bit to Heath Ledger's style. We'll see, I might get annoyed if it's a pretty basic copycat.

Yeah but Fox News is bailing on Trump.
Warren fought hard for common folks prior to running for Senate, going against big bank & fighting for oversight. Plus, she can learn from HRC's debates what didn't work, and what will work. People will believe in her based on emotion, and heart, whereas Trumps plan is erratic fear of the left. It's gotten stale. Mexico didn't pay for the wall, China didn't pay for the tarriffs, and the Republicans didn't replace ACA.
So what's Trumps platform? 4 more years of lies?! C'mon. If the economy goes south at all he's got zero shot. It's what, 14 months & 5 Quarterly earnings reports. That's asking an awful lot for it to maintain for that long a period.
