It's not the board that's fucked, it's the interest in this GnR that is.

i don't know about that.

i've noticed many people express interest in the rumored tour that have not posted in the last 48 hours.

there's just nothing to talk about right now, regarding gnr. it's just like everything else with gnr. The rumors start to come in and, if they're credible, we are left to ponder their validity for 6 months.

wow, a new post in the gnr section!!!!!

what was that, 28 hours?

that's gotta be up there near the top longest stretches without a post.

Not to sound like a "MYGNR" nutswinger, but what do you mean?

I meant to also point out the constant fighting and disrespect that goes on, unbalanced, over there.

no offence, but the original members wasnt Slash, Duff or Matt everyone think that they were then original members the original members were:
Ole Beich, Tracii Guns, Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin, Rob Gardner

like buzz said, the band that put the gnr name on the map is the lineup that is most widely known as the original lineup. thanks any ways for the history lesson. you also missed my point. Axl won't be reuniting with any of them - He likes having full control.

he'll always have the executive decision.

if he was willing to give that up he'd reunite with some or all of the original members.

it's best to wish for a stable group of backing musicians, rather than a band, which is fine with me.

as far as writing goes, axl seems to give them the keys to the studio and tell them when he wants the results for him to mold to his liking. as close to a band as you're gonna get without actually being one.

Owning the rights to the name does not equal creative control necessarily.  My point wasn't that he signed over the rights, just that others in the band obviously have some sway over what goes on.

He would never sign over the rights to anyone.  16

that doesn't mean he has less control - it means he values their input.

If that's the case.
