Bears are in a shitty situation. Basically have to win all their games and even then arent guaranteed a wild card spot. One of those games against the packers, & one of the teams fighting for a wild card is a division rival.
They really shouldn't have blown that game against the sorry ass Chiefs. The only saving grace here is that the Lions are pretty much sucking as well and have to play the Packers at the end of the season.
Don't count on the Falcons choking down the stretch. They got the Jags and Bucs. They'll lose to the Saints.
The Lions have an interesting schedule down the stretch. They get to play the up and down Raiders, and SD which seems to be making a late push as usual. They get GB at the end of the year.
Chicago finishes up with MIN.

No way. Their issue was no RB & shitty defense. Marino was overrated but no legit RB is what killed that team.
Correct again. I started watching in 1990 and I can't even name any good RB he played with in MIA. Maybe Keith Byars but that's only because he could catch alot of passes.
In 1992, Dolphins reached the AFC Championship game. They were playing at home and got roasted by the Bills by a score of 42-21 (or something like that). They had a few good defenders (Offerdahl and Louis Oliver) but never a good overall defense.
Bears are just the latest victim at the hands/feet of Tim Tebow. No lead is safe against that team apparently, unless it's more than 2 TD's since they are offensively challenged.
I didn't see the highlights, but I heard it was a pretty bad loss for the Bears today. Some critical mistakes down the stretch, namely by Marion Barber, who otherwise had a very good game.
The Tebow hype is getting out of hand. The guy is awful for like 3 quarters and suddenly turns it on? I've seen this movie before and I know how it ends. A few years down the line the Broncos will be searching for their QB of the future. Mark that down.
Barber basically ran out of bounds with like less than 2 minutes to go and allowed the Broncos to conserve a time out. In OT he fumbled the ball away as the Bears were driving into GW field goal range.
Two coaches got canned today: Tony Sparano of Miami and Todd Haley of KC.

I would absolutely be stunned if the Cubs don't end up with one of the premiere 1B options in the Free Agency market this offseason.
The Cubs can't bellyache about how they need a regular option at 1B, beyond giving 1-2 year deals to journeymen like Carlos Pena, or a Jim Thome (who's already signed), and NOT break their backs trying to grab a Pujols or Fielder away from their main NL Central rivals.
The Cubs are also not very deep in the farm either.
Like discussed earlier, it's gonna come down to dollars and age vs. productivity.
But truely?
It's gonna come down to "the cut of his jib".
The Cubs want one of them, and frankly NEED one of them, and are one of few who can SPEND for them.
In a dream world, the Cubs sign Fielder to play 1B, and Pujols to play 3B.
Not gonna happen though, considering they'd be committing nearly a half a billion both to those players for the next decade.
It's probably easier to obtain Pujols as weird as that sounds. There are more suitors for Fielder and he has Boras as an agent who always gets the most money out of a contract that he can.
I think they've played it pretty well to this point on Pujols. They've let the market develop for Pujols and didn't overpay in an effort to make a splash. They know theoretically how much it should cost to land Pujols. It'll just come down to whether or not they make an offer that beats the Cards and whether or not he accepts.
Fielder will cost less but there are more teams interested and you have Boras lurking. He favors no teams as long as you have the best offer at the end of the day, Fielder will sign.
Brewers have allegedly offered 6yr and 120 million dollar deal. So Fielder is going to get at least 20 million dollars a year. The Rangers are also lurking in the weeds waiting to jump in.
You haven't mentioned this but the 2012 FA class is very poor on hitters. Josh Hamilton is the marquee guy but he'll probably resign with the Rangers. The 2012 FA class is loaded in pitching though. It makes a lot of sense for the Cubs to sign an impact hitter now and fill the pitching void next year in FA.

Waste of cash by Kansas City as usual. They're paying this guy 4 million dollars. If they're smart, they could have waited it out and got a solid bullpen guy for a lot less than 4 million.
Dayton Moore drafts well but is fucking horrible at signing free agents. Although the Melky Cabrera for Jonathan Sanchez trade he pulled off wasn't half bad.
Apparently the Cubs are in on Fielder and Pujols. They won't sign both guys obviously. Fielder is also being pursued by the Mariners. It makes sense since they're fucking offense was putrid last year. They need a LOT of help on offense though even if the Mariners do sign Fielder.
To be honest, I'm more interested in some of the trades that get down this week. There is always one or two trades that you never see coming.

Blue Jays bring back the blue with vintage-themed uniforms
by APhttp://toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/images/ … lAEQNH.jpg
TORONTO (AP)—The Blue Jays are bringing back uniforms with a more vintage look, tweaking its old-school logo, tinkered with the lettering and given the bird head a more stylized look.
Players will wear blue hats and blue shoes for all games next season, the team announced Friday. Black jerseys have been shelved in favor of white uniforms at home, light gray on the road and a royal blue alternate jersey.
The scripted lettering is gone. The uniforms resemble a version of the jerseys worn when the team won consecutive World Series titles in 1992 and 1993.
“Blue Jays” is spelled out on the home and alternate uniforms, while “Toronto” appears on the road jersey.
These uniforms are a lot better looking than the new ones they've been wearing. I never liked the way they made the new Blue Jay logo. It looked like one of those awful mid 1990s NBA logos (like the Raptors).
Good move on going back to the old jerseys/logos.
As you might imagine, Detroit exploded when this was announced yesterday.
They need to add a bat and maybe more bullpen help. But they're close. And I will be rooting for Leyland and company to win it.
