Anybody else move everything to cash yet? I'll take my gains, sit on the sidelines and see how this plays out. Overbought, interest rate rise on the horizon, and a man who is synonymous with instability. Thanks but no thanks.
I'll be buying to take advantage of the chicken littles. You don't win the market by sitting back and seeing what happens. What happens over the long haul is always gains...even with bigger bumps in the road than Donald Trump. Unless you're close to retirement, you are playing the market absolutely wrong.

In this world of social media, the fringes get all of the attention. Nobody is retweeting the 95% or more of good stuff. The ridiculous gets the attention and people start to assume that's the norm. Shit grows because we allow it to grow.

You're implying I give a shit if people read my posts or not. I don't. Quite frankly there are so few people here capable of having an intelligent discussion on politics that this whole thread is nothing but fodder from everybody with rare exceptions. This is what they call entertainment and nothing more. There are no serious discussions taking place. There's a a lot of fear mongering and accusations of racism, sexism, or some other -ism, but no serious discussions outside of maybe the tranny one which appears dead. That's the God's honest truth about this. It's an entertainment thread and nothing more. There's value in that, but don't sit here an pretend you guys are solving anything or even discussing anything of value. You're not. You're just providing entertainment pretending to have some idea what you're talking about and dismissing anyone who disagrees.

Yes, indeed I am the problem here...
You should stay out of it, since you don't offer anything substantial at all.
You're the most insecure drip I've met online in ages...just miserable.
The difference between people who really are smart and you, is that they don't spend all day telling everybody how smart they are.
There's no way to add anything to the already unsubstantial shit you keep posting as though you know something. You don't know jack shit, and you know I know you don't know jack shit which is why you are always attacking me instead of anything I post. I can't respond to the inaccuracies you post because everything is the opinion of some dumb fucking liberal. There's a reason nobody takes you seriously. You're a fucking clown that acts like a know it all, then has the nerve to get pissed when you're called on it.
Have an original thought. Just one. I challenge you. You cry about people parroting talking points...do you read the shit you post? You and ID are absolutely, positively the least intelligent people to ever attempt to discuss politics. Fear mongering. Quoting liberal media as fact. Crying about what happened. You guys are the most fucking pathetic people out there, and then you have the nerve to attack me because I won't put up with your bullshit? Fuck you.
Every single thing I post is my own thought. I don't read all the sites you keep accusing people of quoting. I don't watch fox news. I see what happens and form my own opinions based on that. You should try it some day. For once, you might be right about something political. Until then, you just make yourselves look like the dumb motherfuckers I've been calling you for months because quite frankly that's what you are. You are the prototypical liberal fuckhead that accuses people of racism for having the nerve to tell you how fucking stupid you are.
There are far too many differences between you and smart people to even begin to list them. I haven't said a fucking word about how smart I am in a while either, so you got that wrong too. As usual, you got nothing right. Congratulations. Maybe it's time you step away because clearly my stepping away changed nothing you ignorant cunt.
Suck on that for a bit.

We have a system where millions of votes don't count. I live in TN, my vote for Hillary and Obama was meaningless. Is that fair? Had it been by popular vote my vote would've mattered. It's the reason more people don't vote. If you live in a predominantly red or blue state, why bother? I'm seriously thinking of going back to Florida where my vote will matter.
The electoral college exists for a reason. We are a collection of states. The big states would overrun the small states if it didn't exist. 3/4 of the states would have to sign off on getting rid of it. It's not going anywhere.

There is the 60 Minutes interview, but it looks like he's exposing himself more to Republicans than Dems.
Campaign Trump: "We're gonna get rid of Obamacare. We're gonna tear it up, rip it to shreds, burn it, stomp it out, and throw it in the garbage"
Elected Trump: "We're gonna revise it"
I said that before Trump did. Nobody does everything they say to get elected because it's not possible. There are different reasons for why things aren't possible, but the US doesn't do a 180 degree turn every time a president is elected from a different party. It's not possible.

People should get to know Pence before rooting for an impeachment.
If Trump is the master negotiator and he acts as such, he could end up being the best president ever because we've needed that for decades. Everything else is media and idiot fueled fear mongering.

buzzsaw wrote:I didn't vote for Trump, so I don't have to hope he does or doesn't do anything. He can't do shit alone. I seriously don't get why you guys post such stupid shit. You're not that dumb, but you let your anger and contempt prevent you from seeking any sort of truth as to why what happened actually happened.
One thing that he does do is represent us as a people to the rest of the world. He does that all by himself. And if he puts Sarah Palin in a post...then I'm really gonna be pissed....:headbang:
He can make those appointments all by himself.
And what about that supreme court justice? Is he just gonna go find another Scalia? It would be a real nice olive branch to get the current nominee approved. What's his name? Merrick Garland?
You think the world doesn't laugh at us for Obama? It's naive to think that the world loves him any more than the world loved any of our presidents. They all had their detractors. I'd be more worried if the world did love someone because it would make me wonder why.
His cabinet is going to be his cabinet and he should appoint them himself. Those are his advisors whether we like them or not. It's just mind-boggling how closed-minded some of the liberals are when confronted with something they don't like. The party of love has been full of hate for the last two days.
Here's what's not going to happen: gays won't be deported or killed, all Muslims won't be deported or killed, women aren't going to turn into sex objects any more than they already are, etc. The entire concept of Obamacare isn't going to go away (meaning preexisting conditions and those sorts of clauses). What else are you guys in full-blown panic over? It's not going to happen. There will be some policy changes for sure. The executive orders that shouldn't have been done in the first place will be overturned. The US has gone back and forth Democrat and Republican for decades and somehow we're all still here.
What remains to be seen is what (if anything) is done about our debt situation. People are all worried about climate change, but have no issues strapping your kids and grandkids with so much debt that they'd be better off if the sun fried them. Some f'd up priorities for sure...

I didn't realize I was being recorded.
In all seriousness though there's a lot of truth in that. The other thing is just like every new president, they can't just change everything 180 degrees. It just doesn't work that way. There are reasons Obama didn't do everything he said he'd do when he ran, and it's the same reason trump won't. Step back and stop fear mongering. This has happened before and we're still here. Relax and stop being part of the problem.
