Holy fuck people are pisssssed about this pardon. Holy shit.

The point was that the sentence was extraordinarily long. I believe (s)he got 30+ years for something that usually gets 3-5. The judge wanted to make an example out of Manning and many felt that was unjust.

Someone throwing a tantrum because people are "mean to him" is different than a guy with integrity who follows his conscience.

This is exactly what I've been talking about for months ID...if/when anyone behaves like Trump...they are criticized and ridiculed as childish...but whenever Trump does it, he is not held to the standards and expectations....

Why? Where did this come from?

1) Here you have a man and a woman who both engage in a certain type of behavior running against each other in an election.

The man is heralded, the woman is shunned and even threatened with jail time and death...wtf is this?

2) We have an out-going president behaved and presented himself in the highest of ethical and professional standards and he's ridiculed no matter what he does and the most ruthless of ways.

We have an incoming president who bullies people, and ridicules anyone who criticizes him. He has no decorum and no tact. His ideas are vulgar and oppressive.

Yea but Obama was never able to prove to us that he didn't hate America. Trump on the other hand wants to make America great again, it even say so on his hat.

Some illegal who doesn't speak English and swam the Rio Grande might get sent home!  Trump might come to Chicago and make people follow the law. Bernie was a smart man!

Or the economy might crash as badly as it did in 2008 under our last idiot Republican President.

Repeal Obamacare with no replacement and see what happens to our economy...even Republican governors are warning their pals to tread carefully with this.

I say less than 18 months until a recession with these clowns running things.

You didn't know? As liberals we all want handouts and like to mooch off everybody else. My dipshit cousin told me the same thing. It's probably how I was raised he said.

I think there is something out there and the CIA knows there's something. And this was just the tip of the iceberg. This wasn't leaked for no reason.

I think the golden shower part was just there to make him angry and blow twitter up. I could care less if that was true or not. But I do believe he has ties to Russia, ties he must keep happy. My guess is that he went to them and China after no American bank would loan him money anymore. This all comes back to conflict of interest at the end of the day.

It's also odd that anybody could be so stupid as to praise Putin and dis our intelligence communities. Especially after all the heat that is on him for  Russia.

Trump is such an alpha male boss...  I liked his answer on Russia.

I don't know if I said this here or not, but I think that's the main difference between camps. Republicans often seem to like the strong man/tough guy talk. I see that as a weakness and prefer a more pragmatic approach to things.

To me an "Alpha male" in most instances is somebody who is insecure and is hiding their flaws/lack of knowledge behind tough guy talk. I know this would seem like the exact opposite to somebody who admires that type of approach.

That's embarrassing. Seriously.

I'm wondering if he is regretting any of this.

Your devotion to wacky theories on Republican officials really handicaps your ability to be taken seriously.

Yea "Whacky" theories put for by all of the intelligence communities, a dozen women who claim to have been groped by this man, unending lawsuits, liens placed by contractors he's fucked over, statements that have actually come out of his mouth...and so on. Yea, so "whacky. "

You do realize that in just one snippet of this press conference the President Elect said Russia probably hacked us, then said being on good terms with Putin is considered an "Asset". Then turned around and said he would be much tougher on Putin than Hillary ever could be.

His conflicts of interests, his cabinet picks, his juvenile infatuation with twitter wars rather than intelligence briefings....it goes on and on. Those are facts.

By all accounts his press conference was a disaster. Hardly a shocker though.
