#1281 Re: The Sunset Strip » Charlie Sheen is the fucking man! » 793 weeks ago
The guy seems to be totally happy with what he's doing, which because it's not the social norm, I don't see at all why he shouldn't be allowed to do it. It's like CBS is forcing him to fall in with the status quo to protect their business investment.
If the guy wants to do drugs, and keep a stable of girls, all while continuing to be a pretty decent comedic actor and action lead - I don't see a problem with that at all.
Good point. It's not like CBS didn't know about all his drug issues when they hired him to do the show. I'd be pretty happy with getting 8 years of relatively stable production out of Sheen.
Although watching the NBC interview today, he looks like he needs help. I think his kids might be the only thing that could force him to change at this point. He ended up bashing his dad in an interview today.

She's an actress. I looked it up on imdb.

"Sheen has now left the USA and is vacationing on a private island in the Bahamas with his ex-wife and a prostitute."
The man.
Actually from what I read somewhere else, it's his ex-wife, porn star Bree Olson, and his current girlfriend, Natalie Kenly.
Here's a photo of Charlie with all three women. Bree Olson is the one on the bottom.

Well, who knows? I would suppose a gag order would not allow him to post anything at all on a message board though. Especially telling fans off.
Also I'd think DJ couldn't speak about tour or album plans, which he has.
Probably not a literal gag order, just an implied one. Talk about anything of consequence and you're fired.
Just saw a post by Ron where he said the current band is Axl's 25 year vision. LMFAO.
Yeah, they always speak in vague terms. I bet if you ask them about how the music was put together and how the general day to day operations of the band are they would be silent.
#1285 Re: The Garden » Cameron (Cam) Newton - Auburn Tigers » 795 weeks ago
Did you see he just signed that huge endorsement deal? Insane.
I think he could be a more stable Vince Young. I'd want to compare him to Tebow, but Cam's a much better athlete, but Time is a better leader. Both aren't great QB's, but at least Tebow stayed in college like he should have to get better and really seems like he's honestly trying to be a better player.
And this is coming from an FSU and "da U" fan.
Shit, the Titans have a good chance of taking him if he is there at #8. Hell if any of the top two qbs (Newton or Gabbert) are available they will take one of them. The only way that Newton is passed is if he flunks out his wonderlic. The new OC and coach are placing a premium on making audibles and OL calls by the QB. I'm praying both those guys are off the board. He's also working with Warren Moon (former Oiler HOF) and given the way the new coach has basically hired a whole bunch of people who used to be Houston Oilers there's another connection. I'd hate a potential Newton pick for 5 seconds. Newton has good mechanics compared to Young although he's thrown a lot less passes.
BUF, ARZ, SF, CIN (if Palmer retires) are all likely landing spots for the top 2 qbs.
Since you mention FSU, what's your opinion on Christian Ponder? I think the Titans are interested in him and he sounds like a good pick in the early 2nd round.
BTW, I wouldn't worry about the Dolphins picking Newton, he'll be long gone by #15 unless they trade up. If they do that the logical team to trade with would be CLE, since both SF and TEN have huge qb needs. If AJ Green is still there at #6 there is NO fucking chance I move down if I'm CLE unless someones forks over a ransom.

Bono wrote:Also in my opinion I think an Axl Rose book would be absolute garbage. It would be such a warped perspective on things.
I don't think Axl is able to see things the way they are. I think he sees things exactly how he wants to, to keep peace in his own self contained universe and not upset the balance of anything by being accountable for anything.
For me that's why I'd hope he'd publish it though, as what I find facinating about this kind of situation is everyone has a unique perspective.
I mean what happened to those GNR kiddies was an amazing life changing experience, and I like the idea of reading about the same events from Slash, Duff, Steven, and Axl's perspective....all eye witness acounts...all with varying problems acounting for the speaker...(IE: Slash was fucked on drugs most of the time, while Axl is very emotional, Duff can't even remember...Adler can't really look past being thrown from the band...like you'd have to account for their personality when reading it - but that's why it's interesting).
Another thing is I find axl's way of speaking quite interesting. It's also something I enjoy in his songs. His choice of words is quite precise. He's way of looking at emotional situations.
I'd read it because I want to hear from him what exactly went down when they (Duff, Slash, etc) signed the name over to him. I do believe him on this point more than the others because he wasn't on booze or drugs. I do find his syntax kind of interesting as he does have a tendency to go on and ramble. That is where an editor would help the most. Too bad Izzy has no interest in writing a book at all because I think he would provide insight into Axl and chronicle how fucked up the rest of the band was while he was trying to get sober.
I do think we would get insight into his childhood which seems to be one of the roots of his problems to this day. As long as the book isn't too long I'd read it.
#1287 Re: Guns N' Roses » 101 Document Titles From Axls Laptop (No Actual Documents Tho) » 795 weeks ago
It is despicable and the only people praising it are the ones who didn't like Axl to begin with. Had this been Slash instead, his haters would be acting the same way. It's kind of sad that people are so petty.
You don't see anyone here actually praising this. Wanting to read this stuff if it leaks is one thing, but I don't think anyone here supports the blackmail/extortion angle here at all and the drama that has gone with it.
I could see Doc being the mole but doesn't some of this stuff predate him? Stuff from prior to his arrival is on there but a whole bunch of these documents could be bs. Anyway Doc has a sketchy past too (see Motley Crue).

If this stuff is true, I can't help but chuckle thinking of the chaos in Axl's mansion right now. Someone should make a Hitler meltdown video of this situation.
Will pianos be going out the window? Or maybe the stopping of several remote controls?:haha:
BTW, thanks for the info darknemus.

To clarify, tejastech08 - I SPECULATED that it came from multiple accounts. The only ones I know of directly that were compromised is Beta's and a me.com account - however - I do not know the total scope / extent of the hack / leak - so it is entirely possible there were more accounts compromised.
Do you have any idea when her email (and others) were allegedly hacked into? I'd buy into the Azoff thing if only because Axl filed a lawsuit against him last year?
And yes, Beta should really have had a secondary email address.

slashsfro wrote:tejastech08 wrote:If you have high capacity email, you can easily accumulate a shitload of emails over the years. All a hacker would need to do is search for keywords and they would find a treasure trove. Remember that Beta is Axl's adopted mom, so the "letters to family" thing is very relevant in this case.
Which leads to another question? Why would she keep a 7 year old email in her account? Couldn't she just copy it off onto a memory stick/storage device and delete it afterwards? Sounds kinda fishy why she would just leave that stuff in the account after reading and responding to it.
Do you have Gmail or something similar? If you have a high enough capacity, there is no reason to delete it. I started using Gmail back in August 2005 and haven't deleted anything that wasn't spam.
Yeah, I got gmail, yahoo and hotmail accounts. They almost all never run out of space. I just find this entire spectacle kinda fascinating in a train wreck style of fashion. I guess with this band the more ridiculous something sounds the more likely it will be true. I agree with nugafed or whoever said it this is like a soap opera for men. This is almost as good as the soap opera I had to sit through called the Titans 2010 second half.
