This is exactly why talking politics is bad
That and religion...
Wanna fight? Those are the 2 topics to get u there
![]()
I try to stay away from these types of topics cuz, whether u are right or wrong, shit slinging is inevitable
From my POV ... wanna talk politics? Then put on ur big boy pants
I ask that u try and respect each other's opinions and treat each other like u want to be treated ... blah blah blah ... but maybe that way of thinking is too Canadian for a USA politics discussion.
As far as I'm concerned all politicians are the same...but imo with Trump we're not dealing with a politician...we're dealing with something much more frightening...an opportunistic, scumbag businessman with zero morals aside from his own $$$ ... if anything happens with him u can bet he is lining his own pockets at the expense of others
I'd rather go with the devil I know instead of the devil I don't...Hilary has alot of federal government experience...even bad experience is better than zero experience....but I'm not American...so I sit by and watch while others vote on the fate of the world
Exactly. You want to go a few rounds? Then lets go a few rounds. Don't bait people into something, then cry when someone takes you up on it.
As for the rest of your post, that's what people don't understand. There's a lot at play that I don't have time to go into right now, but there's only one reason Trump is the Republican nominee: there are a LOT of people tired of the establishment. That happened on the Democratic side too, but Hillary rigged the election so she would win. More of the same is very, very dangerous. Look where it's gotten us? War, debt, divided like never before. The rich are doing well. The people that have managed to stay middle class are doing okay. The US pretty much sucks for everyone else.
Hillary is a criminal. Anyone that didn't have the DoJ in their pocket would have been convicted of several felonies. The fact that she got away with it (so far) because of those connections should scare the shit out of anyone, but instead they point to it as proof of her innocence? That's what we're dealing with. The dumb people on both sides are controlling the future, but they are just doing what the puppetmaster wants them to do. Funny to watch in some ways, but quite concerning in others.
But nobody is interested in discussing the actual issues...

Goes both ways. You stay away with ID and whoever your other bandwagon jumper is and everything will be fine. You're going to have to do better than that if you think you're going to get one past me.

In the other thread you said we should lock it up and call it a day. Yet you're back here, and you haven't changed one bit.
The thread isn't the problem, the subject matter isn't the problem...you're the problem.
If you wanted the other thread locked up, and it was, then stay out of this one. Otherwise your request was all for naught.
I challenge you: Stay out of this thread for one week, and I bet it will remain civil. No insults, no rudeness, none of that. It won't happen.
Don't respond, just come back next Monday and I'll guarantee you I'm right.
I stayed off the site for weeks at a time and you guys created 120 pages of ridiculousness without me. I'm not the problem. The problem is someone called you on the mess you've made and you don't like it. Too bad. I did nothing you guys weren't doing already short of spicing it up a bit to at least make it interesting versus the snooze fest of Hillary used tampon licking that was going on.

Dude, it's not your job to change anyone's opinion. I as much as anyone can appreciate how passionate we all can be on issues we care about. If someone wants to believe Trump is a racist because he wants to enforce the border, there's nothing you can say to sway them. Just as you can't sway someone who thinks Clinton should have been indicted for her email use. To me, the 1st Amendment is about as crystal clear as any law or principle we hold to. But there's still people out there who believe unpopular thoughts should be punished.
At the end of the day, some people aren't interested in debating their opinion. Just try to get someone to explain why they believe in a higher power and not rely on faith. Faith is a powerful thing and isn't limited to religion. How many people have an opinion on Climate Change? How many people that have an opinion are qualified to hold the opinion they have? How many read the actual research and understand it? Those that aren't trained in science nor have read the report are relying on faith to justify their opinion, whether they realize it or not.
Some people posting their comments on this election aren't even US Citizens, so their opinions don't even factor into the outcome. No more than my comments mattered on Brexit. In a month none of this will even have mattered and people will return to their corners to defend or excuses the faults of their surrogate.
I'm not interested in changing anyone's opinion. I'm interested in balancing things back towards reality. They can love Clinton all they want for all I care. I'm just playing the game by their rules to balance things out a bit.

You're an obnoxious retarded piece of shit. You're really quite dense. More to be pitied than laughed at.. tho I admit I am guilty of laughing at you when you think you "buried" people who were already laughing at your stupidity & immaturity. You ignorant cunt.
Bury them again! Haha! Wtf. How does that even work..
Bye! See you in a few days.

I disagree with SG and Randall about politics about 100% of the time, but we've never insulted each other and are on good friendly terms, especially GOT.
You see, adults can handle debate, even the hotheaded kind. There's no "ganging up." Not when it's usually Cramer, myself and Randall and SG going round in circles. That's called debate, a collision of thought and ideas. Not sitting in a chair somewhere having an uninformed meltdown like a two year old.
And I would absolutely bang Hallie Jackson, but not the blonde girl who looks like Golem.
Okay, I probably would.
Nope, nice try though. Sure, you think it's all fine because sg and Flagg back off when you guys pull your antics. At the very least they don't reengauge. It allows you to play your games until someone else comes in sick of seeing the same games over and over and the same accusations of parroting talking heads every time anyone questions you. The game is old and tired.

I agree with you, esp the latter point. The first point you have to add in that it also shows what complete disarray the Republican party is in. Back during the Primary debates (around February) when Trump was beginning to look like the potential winner, Lindsay Graham was interview & was completely disappointed, saying how this election is a generational shift to the GOP where they really have to go back and rethink and adjust some of their platform beliefs.
I think in 4 years they'll need to adapt their views on homosexuality, immigration, taxing the rich, abortion, and other similar staunch conservative positions. They also need to realize the NRA while a stronghold in certain areas, it's not much of a winner among youth.
Granted, I may be wrong on alot of this, it's mostly my "opinion".
Years ago I said the Republicans would never lose if they'd stay out of social issues and the Democrats would never lose if they could figure out how to pay for them. Nothing has changed.

buzzsaw wrote:So you think it's okay to be a total douche bag as long as you're attacking a candidate?
No, to clarify, I don't.
But, sure, I see no reason why we can't bash Trump for being a racist, misogynist, dirty old man with no firm grasp of the issues. He's proven that. We just have to quote him.
And, yeah, let's call Hillary a lying, war-mongering, frail old woman who will say anything to get elected. Just pull out the ammo she's provided you.
Gary Johnson is a loopy pothead who seems to know nothing of the world around him. His most recent TV appearances support those theories.
These people are running for president, and virtually everything they do and say and think is fair game.
Should people just pop into a thread and say Trump is a pedophile or Hillary is a murderer. No, those things were mentioned in the previous thread but there is no real evidence behind those claims. That's conspiracy theory batshit crazy stuff.
I don't get all worked up when people want to go back and forth as long as it doesn't get too nasty. Things get way too nasty in the last thread. Not sure why people get so angry about what someone says about a politician.
So Trump is somehow racist for the wall, but Hillary can have a kkk mentor and that's just fine? That's my point exactly. Trump hates women but Hillary says you can abort a baby up to delivery which somehow makes her pro women? They both suck. There's a small group that refuses to acknowledge any of her faults and when presented with them attacks the person or starts ripping trump. Neither indicates people interested in having a discussion on the topic.
And so we get what we have here today...
