That is ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT. NEVER HAPPENED. A LIE.

Not gonna watch that lie be spread around, it's absolutely not true.

Ron

Ron just posted at MyGNR.

Last time they tried to squash this rumor Axl added fuel to the fire with that mention of Docs firing 16

I don't get it.

"Bumblefoot complaining about DJ" was never on MSL's 101 list of documents/emails?

#1322 Re: Guns N' Roses » 101 Document Titles From Axls Laptop (No Actual Documents Tho) » 795 weeks ago

^ The problem with that is from rumblings in the past as well as some of those emails on the list, I don't think Axl can afford to just say fuck it all and walk away for good.

Saw that Darknemus posted these comments at mygnr:

Unfortunately, for those wishing for IP addresses, MAC addresses, etc.. (which, of course, is a perfectly legitimate thing to think about).. it is my understanding that all of these emails are screenshots taken directly from Beta's email account (and possibly others - Beta's is the one that I directly know of) - since it was accessed via the web, you'll see the URL used to access it (AOL webmail in Beta's case - since as we know, her primary email is @ aol.com ) the receiving parties (Including CC's and BCC's), subject, and if its a forward / etc.

Now - I BELIEVE (but I am not sure) that the files (i.e. video treatments, Powerpoint, Better Remix) came from the me.com online file repository and NOT attachments in email. Some might have been attachments sent to MSL separately - like I said, I never got total clarification on that front.

Them being screenshots explains why you'd have something in 2 / 3 parts that seems like it would be one contiguous email.

Whoever did take the screenshots when logged into Beta's email account and sent them to MSL is going to, eventually, be in a shitload of trouble. That IP access information is easily traced / trackable. My guess is that, eventually, MSL's email records will be subpoenaed which will show who sent it (at least the IP addresses) and who he's sent it to.

That's why when they imply that these came from 'Axl's laptop' its a bit of a misnomer. They came from Beta's (and possibly others) email account(s). Once MSL's records are subpoenaed - that will be easy enough for the Federal / State authorities to determine (or, whatever legal team if there is a civil case / discovery)

@gunns5 - depends, honestly. If it was just some fanboy who got a bit too nosy and had luck guessing a secret question answer right, I'm not too sure about that.

From what I know about the individual in question, they are now freaking out because MSL has gone so public with all of this stuff (according to MSL). I know MSL promises to protect his source 'no matter what' - and that's all well and good - but its a lot harder to hide your digital fingerprints and footprints than people think.

It's a shame that despite running everything his way since about 1993 he still seems so troubled and angry.  You would have hoped he might have found some inner peace as he's got older and done things his way.

The whole animosity thing towards Slash, the regular quitting on a whim, the firing/revolving door of business people and musicians.  Seems he really is struggling to find whatever it is he is looking for.

I have to say though I really have wondered if he has surrounded himself with people that actually help him or whether they simply drive and feed his paranoia.  I say this because I would have thought we might have seen some sort of personal development with him over the years, yet he still appears to be that same angry and messed up kid that just hopped off the greyhound bus.

He is a fantastic artist and I would love to see him succeed and function going forward.  Whether that be NuGNR, Original GNR or as a solo artist.  But unfortunately I can't see what is going to change and therefore make the current situation and modus operandi any different going forward.

Maybe if shit like this does leak it's the chance to clean out the closet once and for all and start with a clean slate.  I mean what could be so bad, We know he threatens to throw in the towel quite often (he's always done this), he doesn't like or he wants to sue or sack band members from time to time (nothing new there).  He thinks everyone from industry people to old friends are against him or wanna see him fail (everybody is Out Ta Get Me). He thinks Slash is a cancer and Duff is spineless, again no great revelations there.

He's human, he has his failings just like all of us.  Maybe if this shit gets out in the open it might help him deal with it and then finally put a whole lot of it to rest so he can move forward in a more positive manner.

Metal Sludge has compiled (received) a list (thru sources) of everything that is alleged to be on the 'memory stick' that Mister Saint Laurent has claimed to be in possesion of.

For now, we don't have these alleged documents, but our source seems to be spot on with other leaks.

So their source is MSL?

You know MSL could easily and unknowingly take the fall here for somebody elses dirty work.

Lets say that someone gave MSL all those files.  Well whats to stop that same person giving copies to multiple people or simply leaking the stuff anonomously themself.

If the motherload of this stuff comes out I'm sure the GNR camp would set the FBI straight only MSL's ass and he would have a devil of a time trying to convince them it wasn't him.  After all he is the only guy that's gone on the net telling everyone what he has and what he is going to do with it.

099. January 2008 Axl email about which songs should be on second album

And there you have the list of songs that MSL quoted as having received.  I'm sure he never got any songs other than the Better mix that was on that email list.

He probably threw that out there as bait to see what he could get.

Shame 3 years on there is no second album sad

^ Yeah that's pretty funny, it's not like there have been other people brandishing around a flash drive with illegally procured emails from the GNR camp.

#1328 Re: Guns N' Roses » 101 Document Titles From Axls Laptop (No Actual Documents Tho) » 795 weeks ago

There's actually a few things in there I would like to read, e.g. the Robin resignation letter.  I also really would like to know exactly why Axl believes Slash is bascially seated at the right hand of the devil.  The book therefore would be very good for Axl's perspective of GNR history, particularly the breakup.

Also like to hear his blunt opinions on a reunion.  Sure we have heard the "press release" style version as to it never happening.  But I'm sure it's come close in the past and will again at some point in the future, so I would be curious as to what Axl's "terms" are for one.  As I am sure he has some.

As for shit like what the band members get paid, profit and loss statements etc etc, I honestly don't give a toss.  Although there does seem to be quite a lot of people chasing money presumably owed to them.  Those private shows obviously were a cash flow necessity.  I don't blame him they they would be a good way to earn some extra cash to help pay the bills.  God knows I'm sure there is enough people with their hands in the GNR honey pot.

His thoughts on VR could be entertaining too.

Went to a 30th Birthday party on Saturday night that was fancy dress.  It was a Hollywood Type of theme.  So I figured it was time to give the Slash outfit a run.

I wonder if this qualifies me as a "Slash Supporter" and I have therefore been duly noted on a list somewhere! 16

Yeah I gotta admit I never understood the whole gun culture thing. I'm glad the gun controls here in Oz are quite strict.
