Yeah WTF has Axl's tweet got to do with Slash and reunion talk???
Fucken low quality journalism taking two bascially unreleated comments and then piecing them together to try and make a new news article.
Nice!

Well, watching the youtube vids the whole half time entertainment looked like an abortion. It was cool seeing Slash although you could hardly hear him but his playing seemed to sound ok from what I could pick up. BUT he is guilty by association for being part of that shambles.
I actually dont' mind Fergie's rock voice when I have heard her sing stuff with Slash before, but it sucked a big dogs dick on that day, like all the other stuff going on.
This is one gig he could have done without. BEP, Usher etc etc all that shit is what is wrong with music today. It's all a visual wank, a coreographed circle jerk where the actual music component and artistic talent takes a back seat (if it ever even existed). Real musical talent has been forgotten about and replaced by all the other masturbation happening on the stage.
If you strip all that shit away and just make the artist stand there with nothing more than a microphone and/or their instrument (if they play one) and what have you got. NOTHING a complete embarrassment, charlatans.
BTW - I dont' include Slash in that category, you strip all that shit away and he's still got some kicks ass rock chops! He's just gotta stop playing with frauds and associating himself with cringeworthy shit!
#1343 Re: Guns N' Roses » New Guns N' Roses shirt, designed by DJ Ahsba's designer? » 796 weeks ago
Yeah I find that I am unlikely to wear most of the t-shirts they produce. Some look bloody ugly others look ok from an artistc point of view (this one isn't too bad), but I still wouldn't wear them.
Then there is a very small few that I might actually wear more than a couple of times.

Maybe Slash Should Try Playing His Own Songs On An International Platform. Not The Songs Of A Band He Was Formerly Associated With.

^ Are they tweets from the GNR camp?

^ Agree, at least it's something mildly entertaining rather than coming to the forum and reading "The search for a new VR singer is still going" or "XYZ from Guns N' Roses is playing here or promoting there".

According to MSL on his site regarding Axl's tweet:
very simple. axl didn't like doc's plan and rejected it. then he fired doc. in axl's mind, the plans were never concrete because he rejected them.
do you really think we'd have tweets from axl & stinson if i was lying about everything?
too funny.
look, i'm done talking gnr stuff till my NY shit is over. need to focus on work. i expect to stay in touch with the gnr camp while i'm in NY but i'm not really going to be able to make any decisions until i'm done working and i'm back home.

I might not agree with everything MLS says and does. But I believe this. The number of times tours and other plans have been booked etc etc only for Axl to turn around and say it happened without his knowledge or something similar.
Unfortunately this is just situation normal in the GNR camp. Only thing is we don't always get wind of what was planned and subsequently cancelled at the whim of the main man.

I can't see any reason why Best Buy would get involved with a re-release of ChiDem. They are still bent over and holding their ankles from the first release. There is no way they would put any dollars into assisting a re-release. It would be career suicide for anybody high up in BB to make the call to get onboard with a re-release that involved them sinking any quantity of dollars into it.

MSL I think what underwhelmed people was what you actually "released/said" on 2nd Feb. I am inclined to believe that you legitimately have documents, I also thought that 2nd Feb something a little more concrete or substantial would have been "released", Your original video had intimated that a truckload of stuff was going to be unloaded on that date if there had been silence from the GNR camp. Rightly or wrongly, with or without you fanning the flames, the 2nd Feb was built up to be something quite "interesting"
Now perhaps that was your original intention and things changed in your game plan between then and Feb 2nd which is your prerogative. But when the resulting disappointment from some forum peeps was directed back in the form of anger, abuse etc - whilst childish, puerile and unnecessary, it was not entirely surprising.

Well at the risk of continuing to fan the flames of this MSL thread and speculation, here are a couple more posts from him on his website, responding to claims he is a liar and people requesting proof of what he has:
Most of the fanbase seems convinced that I am a liar. Even though after I conned people out of songs and leaked them, I posted a very thorough and completely honest confession of everything I'd done.
Even though when I said Shackler's Revenge would leak from China at a specific time, it did.
Even though I broke the story about the Best Buy deal and release date.
Even though I broke the story about the next album being self-titled and Axl asking for a rushed release in time for the festivals last year.
So maybe, just maybe, when I write that "according to documents" I've seen, such and such happened.
Um, it did.
And just because I haven't posted the documents doesn't mean I'm lying.
Meanwhile, I'm in touch daily with major media organizations that want access to the documents and also in touch with GNR's lawyer daily.
So while the fans may think I'm lying, I've purposely released certain information to convince the people that matter that I'm not.
I will say this, a few days ago I would have done anything to make sure everyone got their hands on this stuff, but now I'm not so sure. There are some major companies that wouldn't want this stuff out there and maybe I'm better off cooperating.
Guess we'll see.
Turk would like to say hi to Arby's dude though.
Maybe I don't care about proving them wrong? Maybe it hurts my feelings that so many people would call me a liar when I've always been so truthful with the fans? And not just GNR fans, but MSL fans from my work in music and wrestling.
Maybe when this all started I would have done anything to make sure eventually everyone got to see everything and maybe now I don't give a shit?
Maybe now I should care about the people that have shown they care about me? Maybe it should be more important to me that Turk not have to worry about me going to jail or making sure I'm able to keep new shoes on her feet as well as mine?
Maybe that should be more important now than attempting to please a bunch of animals who simply can't be pleased?
I dunno, it's a lot to think about. I've got a publisher willing to hop on a plane this weekend with $60,000. I've got other offers that would probably involve the information never seeing the light of day.
The overwhelmingly negative response to my article was very eye opening. Every single thing in that article can be completely backed up by legitimate emails between band members or management. I have emails from 2008, 2009 and 2010 where band members discuss the pros and cons of a Duff return.
That's what's so funny about society. We're spoonfed so much bullshit that when we're presented with the truth, we don't believe it.
And that's koo.
But I will make sure Turk and I have new shoes on our feet for a long time and that is my only agenda now.

He sounds a bit uppity about the negative response. But surely he can't be surprised. He dangled a big carrot about all the stuff he was allegedly given, he then gave a date for when he would pull the trigger on some of the info (not leaks as some mistakenly thought - but info). But what he actually "released" and came through with was really just a wet fart.

Dont know if people saw this on Metal Sludge:
Very interesting. Word on the street for a few days has been that Doc McGhee was going to be fired as GnR manager. Now it seems like that rumor just might have become a fact.
Insider talk has Jeff Kwatinetz – Prospect Park (formerly of The Firm) fingered as the new shot caller for GnR in the way of management.
It seems that our recent blurb >HERE< from the self proclaimed "Chinese Democracy" guy Mister Saint Laurent, (we'll call him Mister DeSaint for short) has turned into a blog found >HERE< on his official site.
Sludge is hearing that the popular UK magazine "Classic Rock" is offering a solid near 6 figure payoff of ca$h money to Mister DeSaint for his GnR memory stick of personal documents. This includes an alleged Axl Rose autobiography, his personal emails, contracts for DJ Ashba, the good, bad & ugly.
