Its clear, sucks Mueller chose to speak cryptic, the Trumptards wont be able to comprehend advanced English to put 2 & 2 togethet but they support this bonehead so we really shouldnt be surprised?

Why cant a sitting President be charged with a crime? (Specifically. If you say its in the Constitution please copy and paste the text)

and secondly, shouldnt we the people be up for an amendment to enable them to going forward.

He's up there.

Rove.
Cheney.
W.
Rumsfeld.
Nixon.
Edwards was scum.

Wonder who else really stands out. Prolly some Senators & Governors who were corrupt but I just cant think of them. Baltimores had a bad run.

I don't think Bidens a lock to win. Imho he's about 50% chance, with all other 20+ candidates adding up to 50% to beat him. One needs to begin gaining traction with the first & second debates to really get a boost. Otherwise, if a few go by & it gets to fall with the same lead, I don't think they have much chance.

Oh, right. I mean, he's sorta grasping at straws anyway. I can't see him being much more than a VP choice for a select few Dems. IMHO only Warren could be a good match for him, maybe a couple others but I really don't see what he brings to the table for them. I don't think Klobuchar or Harris would benefit with him on the ticket.

As President, no. Awful choice. Let's just move on from him with that (inexperience, just some rando).

And Beto is done. That dude was terrible from the start.

What happened?  I googled him & seems he had a CNN town hall last night with low ratings. While I'm not a huge fan of his running I'm not sure I'd put everything into that.

Today wasn't a good day for Trump. Cohen cell phone records released, unlikely to hold his tax returns private, and bizarre angry press conference where he's obviously lying and wants soo badly to move on from this.

He's guilty.

I'm wondering if something happens Friday (day before a 3 day holiday weekend. You know, the type of news dump day Barr predictably chose to say he thinks Trump should be not charged)

I’m curious if trumps behavior is pure emotional or he’s actually got a strategy.

I think deflect, deny, and move on is their strategy, and part of what Barr was brought in to do. I think the press conferences are just Trumps ego stepping in & pure loose cannon. I think the Tweets are him tioo, but some issues get so big he needs to speak not tweet.

Mr ID has a point likely it won't matter (yet). I think too much is there tho, plus the words still out on what the SDNY cases are about, and the possible Russian ties in his tax returns. Dems would be foolish to give up, as much as it looks like they're being sore losers right now.

This is bad:  https://www.yahoo.com/news/michael-cohe … 34419.html

Michael Cohen Filings Show 950 Messages With Russian Oligarch’s Cousin

'Five search warrants filed by Mueller’s office starting that July were unsealed Wednesday in federal court in Washington, D.C., detailing some of the early suspicions of Mueller’s investigators'

'The government was looking into whether payments from Columbus Nova to Cohen were connected to a plan to give then-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn a proposal to lift sanctions on Russia, according to the filing. Mueller didn’t bring any charges related to that inquiry.

“Telephone records related to Cohen’s cellular telephone show that on or about Nov. 8, 2016, the day of the presidential election, a telephone registered to Cohen exchanged the first in a series of text messages with the CEO of Columbus Nova,” according to one warrant seeking Cohen’s electronic communications. The two exchanged 230 phone calls and 950 text messages, it said.'

Sure, nothing fishy being uncovered. It's all over, since Richard Barr says its all over, so let's just drop everything.

Nope. Just no longer interested in posting and reading the same messages after 2 years.

Nothing I Post is going to alter the discussion or opinion of anyone else. So why bother?

You and the other two will call me a Trumpkin and say I parrot Fox News. You’ll post inaccurate and false claims, ignore my posts when I explain why you’re wrong, Mitch will shitpost and scream “MAGA” every 3 posts, and the truther will pop in every 3 weeks and tell us he’s finally figured it out. Smoking Guns will justify his vote for Trump and talk about the fed and interest rates, Buzz will talk about healthcare and how all of you are hypocrites for bitching about “this” action but remained silent or supported “that” action. I’ll post entirely too long blog entries on my phone that no one cares to read.

It’s the same bullshit for over 2 years. Thanks, but no thanks.

It was meant tongue in cheek. This threads been slow for last week or so
