LOL @ these people attending Trump rallies cheering on the raising of tarriff's on China.  Half of them buy the cheapest garbage they can find at Walmart, of which are mostly Made In China and prices will go up.  The other half are farmers who likely export a good amount of their product to China, of which less will be bought & consumed by China.

So, they'll earn less, and spend more.  Yet they think "We'll win!!!" because we're not china, so the US wins, right?

Meanwhile the Dow has dropped 1,000 points in a week strictly on this news alone.

Mostly, I posted because its interesting it came from the (R) Senate. Doubt much legally comes from it, but I hope he just looks like an ass and shuts up for once & climbs in a hole.

Don Jr subpoena'd, by Republican led Senate Intelligence Committee - https://www.cnn.com/2019/05/08/politics … index.html

Likely about his (false) statements about not discussing the setup of a meeting with the Russian national, or his discussion with Cohen over Trump Moscow.

Is it in the constitution that he has to release his tax return or is that an everyone else jumped off the cliff so he has to do it too thing?

Right...trump should never have to do anything he doesn’t want to do...because he’s so rich, white and bigly.

You defend his actions and behavior at every turn don’t you? Then in a few posts you’ll claim you’re not a supporter.

There's no action here to defend. He's under no obligation to do something just because people think he should.  I didn't and will not vote for the guy, but I don't have this personal vendetta against him like you do.

Every President for nearly the past 50 years has released their tax returns in an effort of transparency. Unlike his claim, Trump is the least transparent president of our lifetime.

FTR, there isn't anything in the 'constitutional' that Obama had to release his birth certificate either, only that a President needs to be born in the US. Trump chose to go full Alex Jones stupid on that one. Now the tables have turned & he's a big fraud.

PA, you need to watch the special on HBO. These guys took so much fucking hear from Dems and Republicans but in the end, their plan worked.

I've heard about this film, and yeah those guys likely did to some gutsy playcalling to make this work, but Geitner was an Obama guy & if you wanna give alot of credit to those who were on watch & didn't forsee such a tremendous mess (Paulson) then be my guest. Thats like giving Donald Rumsfeld alot of credit for like 1 successful battle in Iraq or something.

So we blame bush for the recession and shitty recovery?

What "shitty recovery"?  It might've been the greatest recovery in our country's history following prolly the second worse depression.

They no longer would call it a Depression because they feel the label is to dire

So you give credit to Bush admin or not?

The recovery itself did happen but is considered the slowest recovery in he history of our country but it was methodical. Obama continues what Bush started and then Trump unleashed the bulls that were slightly contained due to the fed increasing rates. All in all, pretty good.

OMG W Bush started what??  He's Republican successor offered to suspend his campaign indefinitely until the economy was stabilized.  This was in October 2008.  W was clueless on what to do & Too Big To Fail was happening each week.  You're not even trying if you're attempting to say W helped turn the economy around. Republicans were bitching for 2-4 years about the economy & how bad it was, now you're trying to spin it that W started the turnaround.

C'mon man, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney & Alex Jones wouldn't even attempt such an arguement.

Trump, referring to mentioning NOT meddling into the 2020 Election.  This guy outta be removed from office asap & if you don't think so just look at the side he's already taking on Venezuala (He's leaning on backing Russia's view of keeping Maduro in power against the people's will)

Jobs report is out. MORE WINNING! 263,000 jobs created. Blows away all expectations. MAGA.

Yup...plenty of shit paying, low skilled jobs available for uneducated white men!

MAGA

Unemployment hits 50 year low.

Wages up 3.2%

GDP up 3.2%.

263,000 good full time jobs added last month, not part-time as under obama.

Manufacturing jobs increased by 4000 and many new plants announced. .You know, these are the jobs that Obama said we’re never coming back.

Hmmm, let's take a look at those unemployment numbers:

(April)
2010 - 9.8
2011 - 9.0
2012 - 8.3
2013 - 7.5
2014 - 6.7
2015 - 5.4
2016 - 5.0
2017 - 4.4
2018 - 3.9
2019 - 3.5

So Obama knocks 5.4 percent off the unemployment numbers off after a Depression and Trump takes 0.9 percent off and you're doing jumping jacks.

Thanks Obama! 22
