The AFL is pathetic, this year we had INXS with that clown JD whatever his name singing before the game and Lionel Richie singing at half time. Bwwwaaaawawawawa
BUT NOTHING will ever beat this cringe factor back in 1991. Angry Anderson came out - in some sort of bat mobile (yes a bat mobile), and sang "Bound for Glory". Even some of the other people that were out there on the field were laughing.

I was just more commenting on twitter in general and how celebs use it.
Good on you for sticking around here too we need a mix of posters. This site can be negative, I'm definitely guilty of that at times.

Yeah the whole twitter thing I have never really understood. Whether it be DJ or Slash or whoever, the amount of bullshit nonsense tweets is ridiculous. If it was simply used as a medium to communicate relevant meaningful things then it would be great. But, just like so much of the internet you have to wade through so much garbage to find the good stuff. Often there isnt' even that.
I couldn't care less if "so and so" is sitting in a cafe eating a cheesburger, or "so and so" just got back from the gym and is feeling great, or whatever other stupid random thoughts that pop into somebody's head that they feel the need to verbalise into a tweet.

Hmm they may even struggle to get all the gear to the Adelaide gig in time.
More than 70 trucks, carrying goods from fibreglass pools and produce to the speakers for the Guns N' Roses concert in Adelaide, have been parked at local truck stops since Wednesday, when the Capricorn Highway flooded. Drivers yesterday warned it could be weeks before they could move.
''At the moment we are being told the (Capricorn) highway might be open Tuesday but if there is damage to the road or bridges there will probably be a weight limit,'' Mackay truckie Jim Wood said.
''They will have to check the road when the floodwaters drop, so who knows when we will get out.''

I know I will have fun at their upcoming concert but yeah if they have more material why not start throwing some of it into the setlist?
I also have never understood either why everything that this band tries to do is allegedly soooo difficult. I personally don't buy it, they need to drop the victim mentality and just get shit done!
