I wish Duff would at least put out something like Loaded or Neurotic Outsiders. This acoustic stuff sounds very bland to my ears.

I actually bought the whole walking papers album and didn’t make it through the first song. He’s a great supporting musician though.

I fucking love Walking Papers. The first song on the first album probably isn't the best introduction to them, though. Try this on for size:

Hey, has anyone tried dropping the isolated Perhaps vocal onto that rehearsal clip, so we can at least hear an approximation of the full-band performance?

Here you go https://we.tl/t-OzIjChZHa2

Oh damn, that sounds sick. Wish they'd hurry up and release/perform it for real…

Not debuting anything at Glastonbury seems like a missed opportunity for international media coverage. It is such an important, historic festival. It could have created a much-needed buzz for the North American tour.

Glastonbury is a total lottery when it comes to tickets. People won't know who the headliner will be when they 'apply' for tickets.
So I think a new song will have less impact at Glastonbury. As will 'deep cuts' such as COMA
They will have to bring their a-game though, if Axl can do rasp this is the time to turn it on. Also limit covers outside of LALD and KOHD.

Save the new song for Hyde Park, which selfishly I will get to enjoy with a beer in my hand in the gold circle!

lol, I'll see you there...

When the leaks began I always imagined “TWAT” being the opening track of the album. “Do you want to know it all now?” seemed like a statement of purpose, a warning of what was to come.

But... that's not what he's singing. It's "Didn't want to know it all/and I don't want to know it now."

Is it just me or has Axl shed a few pounds?

#158 Re: Guns N' Roses » 2023 Tour Dates » 144 weeks ago

TWAT sounds great, but I still wish they'd just give the outro solo to Fortus. Slash's style just doesn't mesh with it, Fortus' does.

Also he did the screams on TWAT justice tonight. Worth looking that one up on YouTube.

I'm guessing it's some kind of leak strategy via management also.

Sounds good indeed - is that Axl sampled and patched in there? I'm guessing he wasn't present at soundcheck...

Thank you for validating my thought/concern: Axl’s vocals sound like they are lifted directly from the studio recording.

Well, logically he can't sing both vocal lines at the same time (the "You're all alone" bits and the "You used to be a little crazy…" lines overlap each other). So their options are have Axl sing one line or the other, and either track in the other lines from a recording, or have Dizzy/Duff/Melissa sing them.
