This I Love Slash solo from last night sounded totally new. Need to hear on a better feed.

She makes the band sound objectively better.
Don't mean to pick a fight but I notice people use this phrase a lot and in my opinion there's no such thing as "objectively better" in music - it's inherently subjective.
To you it sounds better with Melissa on backing vocals and computers.
To deadsouth it might sound better with a striped down band of only 5 people.
If GNR has taught me anything it's that it's all subjective...I mean there's people who like the Robin solos better than Slash...one of them used to mod here but his name just escapes me

The offical stream of Jungle and NR was the stuff dreams are made of. Sounded fucking sick. Shows the deep need for a DVD of this while they "got it" happening with Axl in form.
Does anyone know if there's a plan to stream next weekend too?
Also it's criminal the stream didn't show some of the rest - I wanted pro of Whole Lot of Rosie with Angus - it went off even on periscope.

I had a bit of that the other week.
I found swapping browsers, clicking on the black screen and also reloading the link worked at different times.

He just smashed out Whole Lot of Rosie and Riff Raff at cochella...sounded better than the GNR songs imo.

Yes, Axl often uses slightly incorrect grammar in lyrics though I've noticed. It sort of adds to the authenticity in a way.
I think the solo was so good it broke the stream.

We know Pitman and Dizzy are the 'writers' of the song, but I always put the lyrics down on Axl.
They're just bad, and by that I mean, Axl's talented and edgy enough as a lyricist to channel his venom more effectively than that.
I know what you mean generally. But it does have elements that remind me of classic Axl to.
There's something about the line:
Syphilitic priestess, baby I know who you are, Parasitic demon sucking acid through your heart
that really screams Axl to me.
