James, I've used 270towin before but can't get the god damned maps to embed. How did you do it?

I just save the image then upload via tiny pic or something similar.

This is the Electoral Map based on current RCP polling averages. I only applied states that were outside the margin of error (3 points in this case.)

I think it's funny when a particular segment of Americans get upset about outsiders giving their opinion on our political process or candidates. Considering most of them overwhelmingly supported the invasion of Iraq and subsequent "rebuild" (cough-cough-tax payer funded corporate give away.)

Not to mention the decades of global meddling, such as overthrowing a democratically elected leader in Iran and installing the Shah (wonder why they hate us?)

If we want your opinion, we'll ask for it.

Stats can be manipulated to say whatever you want them to say.  The recovery had already started when he took over, but economic statistics always lag.   The problem is that people don't understand anything other than what they are told, which is often wrong.

The unemployment numbers are way, way off. They changed the rules halfway through to make them look good. Things are getting better now finally, but they were awful most of his presidency. Awful.

Great explain to us then. Explain how the data is flawed.

In particular explain to us how UE reporting was "Changed." The only people I see changing how UE is reported is the GOP, who can't stand low percentages on Obama's watch. They certainly didn't apply this new metric to anybody else prior, only Obama.

From 270 to win, based on current polling data. As I suspected Hillary has roughly 240 EVs walking in the door. Notice Trump's weak numbers in otherwise deep red states.

Could you imagine how apoplectic the GOP would be if:

The Democratic candidate's wife was foreign born with a thick accent.

Who was the third Missus, clearly a trophy wife, after the other two were traded in/cheated on.

Who then gave a speech which plagiarized two paragraphs directly from the current Republican First Lady.

Just imagine that for a moment...

It's because blacks are raised in this country to be perpetual victims and never take ownership of their actions. We have a shared existence.

Yes, we all live in the same country, but hardly the same communities or the same educational systems. Low income black (some not all) communities clearly have a self perpetuating problem, that's the whole point. Although this is hardly exclusive to blacks, I've seen plenty of poor white families unable to escape the cycle of poverty and ignorance.

Quit trying to make this such a (ahem) black/white issue. Nobody on the left (here) is claiming they are perpetual victims. Nobody here is claiming they are being picked on. That's an entirely different subject in relation to environment (in this case abject poverty, crime and violence) and the profound effect it has on human beings, especially children growing up.

I do think it's incredibly ironic that you guys aren't even capable of even contemplating a different point of view, but talk endlessly about changing-and if you could do it so can others. As if!

I love when white people try to talk about how hard it is to be black then shame other white people that came from nothing and made it.

I came from nothing. In fact I had less than nothing. It took me years just to get to zero. So spare me.

Nobody is "shaming" anybody...just asking them to think outside their own existence, if only for a moment.

I didn't grow up in the hood so to speak, but I didn't grow up in Beverly Hills either.  We were poor.  We were on food stamps and free lunches at school.  My family wasn't educated.  I had people I knew into all kind of bad things including gangs and drugs.  I chose not to go that route, though I easily could have.  It's personal choices that people make.  I'm so sick of the excuses for them.

What part don't you understand? Your experience was YOUR EXPERIENCE. I can't explain it any more to you. Actually I could, but it would be a waste of my time.

Lack of empathy is your problem and why you're incapable of grasping this concept. Not surprising from the guy who took free lunches from the government (literally) but pisses and moans about welfare in America. If you're that disconnected, then you'll never get it.
