Any predictions?

I’m predicting Dany gives birth to Eddard Targaryen. Sam ends up as warden of the South with Highgarden/Horn Hill, Jamie Warden of the West in Castelry Rock, Sansa wardeness of the North, and Robin Arryn will stay Warden of the east. Gendry will get Storm’s end, Edmure will take back River Run, and Yara will get the iron islands. The show botched Dorne so bad, I think they’ll ignore it.

I just don’t think Jon and Dany both survive, and have no idea what happens to Tyrion. Cersei will die, but I have a bad feeling Tyrion will betray Dany to protect his family and unborn niece/nephew.

Lol, another sweeping investigation... this shit is going to win Trump another term. The more they try to remove trump on this shit vs. policy, the less chance they have to win. Makes the dems look so pathetic.

I obviously agree with you. All the bitching of what a travesty Benghazi hearings were (and they were, but the Obama administration lied after 4 Americans were killed, so at least there’s that), and they’ve turned it into a complete circus. Now 2020 candidates are discussing removing the filibuster so they can ram rod legislation through. It’s like the Democrats never learn from past experience.

I’ve very excited about Andrew Yang, but he’s not a complete tool, so he’ll never make it to the primary debates.

It’s like they’re unaware the far left shit doesn’t sell outside of social media. And the GND is an absolute joke that would cost more than the global GDP for a year.

I didn’t vote for Trump last time, but given a choice between him and a Harris or a Warren, and it’s not a hard choice to make.

I suppose one question to the Trump supporters:  If Trump was asked by Mueller about both the Stormy Daniels payments, and the firing of Comey, and it's deemed he lied under oath about both (with evidence, let's say Cohen has convo's on tape or someone like John Kelly corroborates it), do you think that Trump should be removed for that as a result of obstruction?

No, we already established that lying under oath isn't impeachable when Clinton was in office.  I don't think you have anything on Comey because firing people in the executive branch is the President's job, and Comey testified he was never compelled by Trump.  But if paying off porn stars and lying about it is a crime, we have a bunch of previous incidents to refer to for guidance.

The same people calling Trump a "criminal, pathological liar, racist and traitor to this country" said the same thing about McCain, Romney and Bush.  They always say the same thing.  And they're always super serial this time.

They never need any evidence or a court to agree with them.  And they're always silent about the things their preferred candidate did that would meet the same standard.  Trump didn't stand next to Farrakhan or attend a church where the reverend yelled "god damn America" or "god damn white people".  Not a peep though, because they're not interested in thinking.

So, basically, we are at the same stalemate with North Korea that we always have been. Except now, we sit at the table and legitimize them. North Korea gets far more out of this than the U.S. And now, other countries will think they can pursue a nuclear program and we'll look the other way.

If that's what's really going on with this summit, then it's just another Trump photo op.

Seriously, what’s the alternative?  Military action?  You want to nuke NK?  Engage China?

Do you care that KJU is a horrible dictator?  If Kim quits launching missiles, and we have a plan to monitor the prohibition of nukes, isn’t that ideal?

If having a conversation ends the Korean War and opens up the door to NK opening up like China was in the 70s, why is this bad?

What’s the alternative. I’m asking?  Obama didn’t “legitimize” him and the end result was a nuclear NK with ICBMs. Great statesmanship.

I have no idea what will happen. I’m not praising Abe for nominating Trump for the Nobel. I’m just saying how is our current relationship with NK objectively better today than at anytime since 1950?

I just love that Cohen debunked virtually every part of the Steele dossier. And the 9/11 truther won’t give it up. Every conspiracy, every breaking story has been debunked.

So now the true nut jobs, the people that literally posted infowars articles 14 years ago, has now moved on to ignoring all that, and conjuring up new conspiracies that are just as removed from reality.

I mean, fuck Michael Cohen, but if I had spent the past 2 years posting every article I find, be proven wrong time and time again,  then put all my hopes on the disgraced lawyer trying to build a PR campaign to sell a book after Cohen gets out of prison, and had him on national TV debunk all my conspiracies, I’d be off the rails. I’d be irate. I’d be embarrassed and ashamed. But crazy people are going to crazy.

I’d probably shut the fuck up and go into hiding and giggle at my own farts.

I just feel bad for the normal people like PaSnow who bought into this nonsense. And were oblivious to the effort to manufacture allegations to find anything, any way to distort the truth or law to find something.

But what do I know. I was never a 9/11 truther, a birther, a Benghazi nut, or Russian truther. I never shared Alex Jones articles. I didn’t force half the posters to disappear because I’m an annoying, unintelligent child who shit posts to get attention.

I’m just a normal guy who realizes Trump is a lousy human being and voted for Clinton. But despite that, he’s the legitimately elected President and the GOP handlers have guided Trump’s chaos in a direction I largely agree with and don’t get off to screaming the sky is falling.

1. He said Roger Stone was in touch with Trump re; Russians having the DNC hacked emails. That isn't 'knowledge' of collusion?
2. He wrote a check in 2017 for hush money to a porn star he banged that he hid to win the election. Yeah, who cares, but it is a crime AND he stated on Air Force One he didn't know anything about it (also not a crime, but the optics of it are horrible)
3. Dems likely gained traction in regards to obtaining tax returns.

1.) Stone talking to Wikileaks isn't collusion.  I don't know how you can argue it is.  But we know one candidate paid for bad intel (assuming you believe Cohen) from Russia, and not a peep.  By all means, if you can make an argument for any crime Roger Stone committed by talking to Julian Assanage, say it.  Don't hide behind innuendo.  Spell it out.

2.) It's not a crime.  For it to be a crime, you'd have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt Trump only paid off the whores to win the election.  Not to say protect his brand or protect his wife.  John Edwards was tried for this very thing in 2008 after he took 1 million dollars from donors to pay off his mistress and bastard.  And the case was dismissed outright for the aforementioned reasons.  Quit quoting pundits and explain how this was a crime.  And even if it was, Obama was found guilty of campaign finance violations in 2008 and paid a fine for a much larger amount.  It ain't a crime.

3.) Who cares.  Trump can claim executive privilege, but getting his tax returns has dick to do with this.

Trump spent the day with Kim Jung Un and the media and folks like you are fixated on a circus that debunked all of your claims for the past 2 years.  But hey, Cohen called him a racists and a bunch of bad names.

Vote to impeach.  Mueller's report is coming.  Every day the truther  crowd is given a platform, the more it becomes clear to ordinary Americans the whole Russian collusion thing was in fact, a witch hunt.

#1668 Re: The Garden » US Politics Thread » 376 weeks ago

Man, if I had been a Russian truther and hyping Cohen up, I'd feel awfully embarrassed today.

1.) Denied going to Prague - Truther fantasies about the dossier and piss tape debunked

2.) Denies any knowledge/evidence of collusion - ouch

3.) Says Trump reimbursed him for paying off blackmail from his private account - ouch again

But hey, he called him a racist and a bunch of other bad names and tried to deflect he's going to jail for crimes completely unrelated to Trump.  To say nothing of what Mueller said about Cohen's honesty and ownership of his crimes.

Oh yea, and:

4.) CNN says they have evidence Cohen lied under oath today by denying he wanted to work in the White House.

Mitch, I responded to your post. Are you too timid to reply?

“Where’d he go? And why did he think he could get away with making so many baseless and false claims?”

You really outdid yourself this time, Mitch. I understand why you’re embarrassed.

Nope....i will respond with the same timelines that you did....which is whenever the hell i want....just like you.

Based on what I’ve skimmed, you’re twisting and stretching things again. You’re just saying the same bullshit you’ve always said.

No, Mitch. You’re just a fucking moron. Gloves off. Fuck off. You’re incredibly fucking stupid and will never get a response from me. Seriously, you’re so fucking dumb you can’t even acknowledge you lack basic reading comprehension. You’re not worth my time. You’re a loser and an idiot.

Fuck off. Seriously. You’re an absolute idiot and nothing about you is redeemable. No one takes anything you post serious, and I don’t care anymore. Again, please fuck off and maybe walk in front of a bus.

I will say this, its getting big again. Tomorrow could be a monster news day.

If all Cohen has is more info on paying off women, not only do I not care, I don't believe the DoJ would prosecute it as a crime.  Congress can feel free to level articles of impeachment.  But the standard set under Clinton makes this a no brainer.

I feel people forget how sleazy his impeachment was.  Not only did he lie to the American people on TV, and under oath - which got him disbarred like Cohen was today, he slammed Lewinski as a crazy stalker.  Both he and his wife did this.  They gaslit her.  If she didn't keep the cum covered dress, nothing would have happened.

Trump paying off two women who were attempting to blackmail him as a candidate, whom had been payed to be silent, and broke that silence, doesn't equate to gaslighting a woman and lying under oath.  And I don't think Clinton should have been impeached for it.  So anyone pushing the notion Trump paying off Stormy is impeachable, I call bullshit.

I don't think Cohen is going to have anything related to Mueller's investigation, and anything he says needs to be taken with a huge grain of salt.  He lacks any credibility.

I have a hunch when the Mueller report drops any day now, certain people will continue to call for investigations regardless on if the mandate of Mueller's mandate exonerates Trump.

You decided he was exonerated in December 2016....why should i be surprised if no matter what comes out that you’ll maintain this stance?
