Bucket was in a tight spot. He could have added his own crazy spin to every old song. He definitely did the best NT of the CD era. He also had to deal with a 3 guitarist lineup where he couldn't be the main focus.
I love Bucket. I'm glad he's gone. He can continue releasing killer albums while GNR keep doing what they never should have stopped doing.
Yes. I think Bucket as the only solo lead would have been great. That said these songs just suit slash and always have.
