It was pretty cool to watch as a Blackhawks fan.

I'd say Scott solo failed too. The name (brand) STP (like GnR) is the draw, not any one specific member.

It was brave because it was a train wreck just waiting to happen. You have the key talent in the band (BH) with no chance of functioning in an 8 piece band, another "guitar player" that looks like he was stuck in the 90s and can't play the instrument, and Axl. Forgetting about what was wrong with the rest of it, this alone destroyed any chance for success. That might have flown in the mid 90s (maybe) but no chance with Axl out of the spotlight for 10 years and apparently not keeping his voice ready for 10 years. Axl with Slash and the boys in that condition would have been bad, but it had zero chance with that Axl and that cast.
And here's the worst part: it's ALL his fault. It's his fault the fans were on him, it's his fault the media was on him, it's his fault he wasn't ready, which made both of those factors worse than they already were.

That's a pipe dream. There's no way in the world that freak show from 2002 was ever going to be accepted as GnR. That was over as soon as the VMAs happened.

Sounds like a cool night out for the two of you. Is it an outdoor venue?
I honestly have no idea. I would think so.

I'm seeing this in Atlanta this summer. I'm a fan, but my wife is a big MB20 fan, so she's the one pushing to go. I saw MB20 in Chicago as a wedding gift to my wife right before we got married and it was a good show.

Anyone that uses the term butt hurt really loses all right to complain about anything anyone else says.

Move it to the other thread then.

This is a thread about the show not for you guys to continue any personal issues you may have. That is what PMs are for. Buzz this has to stop you've had multiple opportunities to explain your position yet so far just managed to suggest you 'know' something. If you refuse to say any more then you're just being disruptive to the forum, maybe that's your ultimate aim but either way it can't go on.
Not my ultimate aim at all. You guys decided to lock the place to discuss this and it came up again. What did you think was going to happen?
Monkey and I exchanged PMs. My issue is not at all personal with him or any of the others. Despite the fact that he continues to refer to me as a troll, I like monkey. I think he's a good guy that got caught up in something that got stupid. Maybe he barely played a role at all, I don't know. As I've said from the beginning, I can't prove anything.

It's really this simple:
I know what happened, yet can't prove anything. That's what I've said from the beginning. Monkey started claiming full innocence, but eventually fessed up to most of it while leaving out key details once he realized I actually knew what I was talking about. He's chosen to draw his line here because he knows I can't prove what actually took place in the PMs.
I've told monkey and mettalex that I don't expect them to admit anything, but I'll let it go if they just stop proclaiming to not have done anything. That's all I ask. Don't come clean, just stop claiming to not have done anything. If they can do that, it's over, but they continue to proclaim to be innocent.
